Situated in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park between Snowdon, The Glyders and the Carneddau mountains. Located within close proximity to Betws Y Coed, Llanberis and Bethesda. On the doorstep of the Ogwen Valley and within a short bus ride of Snowdon. The space Located in the heart of Snowdonia (Eryri) and surrounded by dramatic landscapes, enchanting forests, magical waters and glorious coasts, this charming cottage offers an abundance of rustic charm fused with a cosy, contemporary ambience. Step inside this charming 19th century stone cottage and into the spacious ground floor living space. The cottage has been lovingly renovated to create a bright, contemporary interior whilst retaining its original character and rustic features. The entrance hallway leads into a spacious lounge featuring a beautiful original fireplace and log burning stove, perfect for cosy nights in with a glass of wine. Enjoy breathtaking views out of the window towards Moel Siabod or watch one of many birds of prey flying above the forest. A large sofa and two fireside rocking chairs provide ample relaxed seating. A smart TV is located on the wall near the fireplace along with WIFI whilst a freestanding lamp in the corner provides cosy evening lighting. Walk through the double oak doors and into the spacious kitchen / diner featuring built-in oven / hob and a large fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and toaster. Cook up a delicious meal after a great day out walking in the National Park or simply relax and catch up with friends / family at the table. Beyond the kitchen / diner and located off a small hallway is the bathroom featuring a bath with overhead shower above, an ideal place to relax after a day out exploring. Upstairs, the master bedroom offers a beautiful Chesterfield style king sized bed with a quality Harrison Spinks mattress, the perfect place for a great night’s sleep. There is an open wardrobe, tasteful complimentary furniture and soft bedside lighting. The large window offers breathtaking views of Moel Siabod. Bedroom 2 offers the same beautiful bed albeit in a double with views from the rear over the mountains. Bedroom 3 offers twin beds, a built-in wardrobe and the same stunning views as bedroom 2. All bedrooms feature soft beige carpets and guests are politely requested to leave outdoor shoes downstairs. This cosy mountain cottage features a front garden with seating area from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Moel Siabod and the Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) horseshoe by day and spectacular astronomy by night. Being in a dark sky reserve area, immerse yourself in the stunning night sky. To the rear is a small yard area, perfect for storing mountain bikes. Capel Curig is the gateway to Snowdonia and a hub for outdoor enthusiasts. Climb Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), the highest mountain in Wales, swim under the stars in nearby Llynnau Mymbyr or experience the world’s fastest zip line. Catch the bus from outside the cottage to walk up Snowdon or enjoy one of the many local walks right from your doorstep. Alternatively, get on your mountain bike and enjoy the nearby trails or sign up to a course at the National Outdoor Centre (Plas Y Brenin). Of course, if all that sounds too much, you can always enjoy a hearty breakfast or home cooked meal in one of the nearby country pubs whilst soaking up the view. Additional public parking is available free of charge and close by. A fire starter pack is supplied (kindling, fire lighters and some logs. Additional logs can be purchased locally.
