Waterfront Cottage on Dog Lake - 2 Bdrm +

We are located on Dog Lake (best fishing), part of the Rideau Canal, Kingston. Sleeps 6, 2 bdrms queen beds + dbl futon. 2 paddleboards, 1 kayak, & life jackets, games & playing cards. Kitchen has full fridge n stove or enjoy the outdoor propane BBQ. Kitchen is fully stocked. Indoor bathroom w/shower & an outdoor shower. Feet from the water, large rock frontage, great for the kids and dogs. Nothing to do is also a good option. Bring food, drinks, beach towels, and a toothbrush. The space The Bunkie offers 2 bedrooms + double futon, sleeping 6 but it's tight 6 unless you have small kids, 4 is ideal. We include 2 paddleboards + 2 kayaks with life jackets and paddles. Access to the water is private and really close to the front door. The kitchen is fully stocked for generic things like Saran wrap, foil, salt n pepper, Tupperware, zip lock bags, Keirig coffee and tea, sugar, sweetener, pots n pans, bowls (see amenities for a full list) just bring food, drinks, and a toothbrush. Morning sunrise & evening sunsets are stunning. We are in the midst of upgrading the shower. Currently, we have 10 minutes of hot water then need a 30 minute refresh before the next shower. We are full disclosure here, no surprises. Guest access The Bunkie is located beside our family home, heavily treed space between us. You have your own private deck to enjoy the sunrise or sit at the front for sunsets. Includes your own propane BBQ, swimming area is all private including a large fire pit & outdoor dining. Parking is available & labelled so you are close to the Bunkie. The outdoor lights will be on when you arrive in the evening. it is keyless entry a code will be sent to you the day you arrive. There is a tips sheet left on the kitchen table with things you might want to know, like best pizza ever, etc..(no Uber or deliveries out here btw) Other things to note WIFI is spotty at best. Remember, you are in the remote area with LOTS of trees and no cell tower. When using the paddleboards and kayak, it is the law to wear life-jackets. We provide jackets in the following sizes: ages 5-13 for kids. Adult sizes are 3 ladies large (tighten buckets to accommodate medium/sml), 1 ladies medium, 2 mens large and 1 mens x-large. Shower is great but its only 10 minutes. Long showers are reserved for the city. To refresh hot water, it takes half hour or so.
