Arakari Ecolodge

Located on a 10-hectare property of which 90% is totally covered by primary and secondary tropical rainforest, Arakari Ecolodge offers a unique experience not only to enjoy and learn from nature but also to experience firsthand the customs and traditions of the local people. Our facilities are designed in a rustic wooden style, with comfortable rooms, each with private bathroom and access to side balconies and a main balcony as well, which is perfect for bird watching. Guest access We also have a fully equipped kitchen with its respective kitchenware for the convenience of our guests, two living rooms, a small library, a BBQ area and a large garden. In addition to our lodging service, we are developing an ambitious environmental project thanks to an award received by the Costa Rican Government due to our efforts for the conservation and study of the Tropical Rainforest, therefore we encourage our guests to enjoy the trails we have through the rainforest cost free whatsoever. During your stay It's very important for us to be aware of our costumers' needs, we're available 24/7 for them and they can easily contact us via text message or phone call. We offer other services such as laundry, local transportation, and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Feel free to ask for our rates. 2. We have the best contacts and recommendations for different activities to enjoy the Sarapiqui Experience such as rafting, floating safaris, hiking, birdwatching, chocolate tour, mountain bike, yoga or guided night walks. 3 Since we are located in the tropical rainforest, it is essential to use insect repellent, especially mosquitoes. 4. Please note that if you are traveling by car our parking is free of charge. Nevertheless, keep in mind that there is a distance of about 50 yards between the parking lot and our facilities 5. Remember that Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui is a small town with only one road in and out, this added to the fact that it functions as a connection point between the Caribbean and the northern part of Costa Rica, vehicular traffic is a factor to take into account. 6. children under 12 years old and pets are not allowed. 7.
