Welcome to our chalet in the forest, nestled like a well-kept secret in Reipertswiller (a village with a star rating) in the heart of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve). A true "memory-making place" with a Scandinavian feel, it's the ideal spot for those who want to listen to the forest, live according to the rhythm of the seasons, and simply take their time! Here, the smell of the forest envelops us and reminds us how alive we are. ✨ THE SPIRIT OF THE PLACE: SLOW DOWN & OBSERVE Forest immersion in our 75 m² cozy retreat (2 bedrooms – 2 double beds). Our lodge is a real haven of inspiration, popular for its opportunity to disconnect, but also for green teleworking and creative writing and photography retreats. ● Digital Detox: No TV, but Wi-Fi for your projects. ● Library: We share our library filled with comics, board games, novels and nature guides to help you explore the fauna and flora. 🍃 EXPERIENCE THE SEASONS ● Spring/Summer: We spend our lives outdoors! In the morning, we have fun identifying the birds at breakfast (13 species in 2 minutes, depending on the season!). We relax in the 2-person hammocks facing the forest, play a game of badminton, or head off to swim in one of the beautiful ponds surrounded by forest (Hanau & Hasselfurth). ● Autumn/Winter: We love foraging for mushrooms and tracking animal footprints before heading back inside to enjoy a cheese fondue or a raclette. Play a board game, read in front of the fireplace, which now features LED candles, still offering that soft, cozy glow that we love so much here to accompany cozy evenings. We thrill with joy listening to the deer's bellowing from September to October or the foxes' mating calls in February. We sit on the terraces to admire the forest with its mystical atmosphere. Whether it's a thousand colors, misty or frosty, we connect with its wild and rejuvenating side. ● In all seasons: After doing one of the many hikes, we like to curl up in the deck chairs, wrapped in blankets, to admire the Milky Way while listening to the sounds of the night; (Brazier outside of dry season!) 🌌 EXPLORATION & HERITAGE Peat bogs, castles galore, bodies of water for swimming surrounded by wilderness, museums, etc. – it's impossible to get bored! ● On-site: Wild pond (newts, dragonflies, frogs). Around the house: wildlife watching and looking for tracks. Immediate access to several hiking trails, including several leading to Lichtenberg Castle (direct access on foot or 5-min drive). ● To discover: many castles, but also picture-postcard villages (La Petite-Pierre, Hunspach, Saverne, Bouxwiller, Niederbronn-les-Bains), the Cleebourg vineyards ● Attractions: The spectacular "Colorado de Roppeviller" and its red rocks (45 min), the Maginot Line, the cave houses of Graufthal (unique in Alsace), the Alsace Treetop Trail, the Lalique Museum and the glassmaking expertise of Meisenthal, etc. We look forward to hearing from you and, for the duration of your stay, to handing you the keys to the forest!
