Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy El Mezquite's folk art, furnishings, and location in Presidio--walking distance to local amenities and a pleasant drive to Big Bend Ranch State Park, Big Bend National Park and Ojinaga, Mexico. Covered patios on both the front and back of El Mezquite will allow you to take in beautiful sunrises and sunsets, as well any other time you'd like to enjoy being outdoors, day or night. Stargazing on the back yard loungers is spectacular! The space IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: If you are traveling to Presidio as part of a construction crew working on the wall, we kindly ask that you find other lodging arrangements. We have a fully functioning kitchen, dining area for 6, cozy living area, 3 comfortable bedrooms (2 with queen beds, one with king bed), 2 bathrooms (one is ensuite with walk-in shower, other has clawfoot tub/shower), laundry room with washer/dryer, & lots of seating on the front & back porches. There is a large back yard covered in cement pavers & lined with a rock/cactus garden. Table, chairs & loungers provide an after hours star gazing sanctuary. The driveway & front of the house provide ample parking and a single stall carport is available. Please be aware of an 84" (7 foot) height limit when using the carport. Guest access The entire property is available to you with the exception of a utility closet & storage lockers, both in the laundry room. Other things to note We recently installed string lighting in the back yard so you can enjoy the beautiful Presidio night air!
