Discover Sjusjøen – one of Norway’s most popular mountain areas – famous for its excellent cross-country skiing network, welcoming atmosphere and year-round activities. In winter, you can enjoy ski-in/ski-out cross-country trails right outside the door, alpine skiing, dog sledding, kiting, sleigh rides and snowrafting. The space Sjusjøen is also a paradise for hiking throughout the summer months. Choose everything from easy walks around Sjusjøvannet to hikes with views towards Jotunheimen and Rondane. You can reach peaks like Lunkefjellet or join the 7-peak tour for a true mountain experience. Trails start right outside the cabin – with access to forest, mountains and open highlands. The cabin – comfortable, practical and full of atmosphere The cabin is located at the end of a quiet road at Rømåsen, with ski trails right outside and only a short distance to the alpine slopes. It is tastefully decorated and well-suited for both families and groups of friends who want to combine outdoor activities with cozy indoor evenings. Highlights inside and outside: Spacious living room with TV (HDMI and basic package) Well-equipped kitchen Fireplace for warmth and coziness A total of 10 beds across 4 bedrooms (including annex) Two bathrooms, one with sauna located in the annex Ski storage with waxing facilities Fire pan on the terrace – perfect for long evenings outdoors The cabin is child-friendly and includes a high chair and travel cot. Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1: Double bed (150x200) Bedroom 2: 2 bunk beds (75x200) – total 4 beds Bedroom 3: Family bunk (120x200 + 75x200) Bedroom 4 in the annex: Daybed that pulls out to double (2x80x200) After a day on the trails or in the mountains, it’s a pleasure to return to a warm living room, light the fireplace and sink into the sofa. The kitchen makes it easy to prepare shared meals, and the dining table has room for everyone to gather. For those who want to stretch the evening, the outdoor fire pan offers a simple and cozy setting. This cabin makes it easy to relax and enjoy time together – whether you are many or just a few. Practical information: Bed linen and towels: Not included. You can bring your own or rent for NOK 250 per set. Please let us know in advance if you want to rent. Cleaning: Included in the final price, but guests must prepare the cabin for cleaning according to instructions. Easter holiday: Bookings during Easter are possible for the following periods: Friday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Monday, or the entire period. Other things to note NB! Please note that bed linen/towels are not included in the price. So you should take it with you, otherwise it is possible to rent for NOK 250 per set (must be booked in advance).
