The cottage consists of 4 comfortable bedrooms and 3 modern bathrooms, ideal for hosting families and friends (2 beds of 180; 1 bed of 160; 2 beds of 90). The spacious and bright living room includes a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen, a warm dining room with a stone fireplace, as well as a cozy living room equipped with a connected smart TV. For moments of relaxation, a hammock suspended in the mezzanine invites you to chill out in peace above the living room 😉 Outside, a beautiful enclosed garden awaits you. Enjoy the spa under the courtyard for moments of absolute relaxation, and savor your meals outdoors thanks to the garden furniture and dining table located on the terrace with a brazier and plancha available. Kids can have fun safely on the swing. The area is packed with activities for everyone. Discover the famous local wineries with wine tasting, visit the majestic castles of the Loire, or explore nature by canoe. For lively evenings, head to the guinguette opposite the Royal Fortress of Chinon. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will appreciate the greenway connecting Richelieu and Chinon. Nearby you will also find a swimming pool for cool moments. The Gîte du Puits Chauveau is ideally located to explore the surroundings: Saumur is only 30 minutes away, Tours is 40 minutes away, and Poitiers is 50 minutes away by car. Guest access The cottage is accessible at the end of a cul-de-sac, key box on site. Vehicle can be parked in the yard of the house (enclosed garden). Not suitable for people with limited mobility (steps, stairs). Chinon train station is 4.5 km from the cottage. A 20 km greenway (bike) connecting Richelieu and Chinon and passing by the foot of the house. Other things to note The Futuroscope is about 60 km from the cottage (50 min). The Domaine de Roiffé, 20 minutes away. Created in 1985 by the French architect Hubert Chesneau, it offers an 18-hole golf course with a simple and diversified course over more than 60 hectares, partly wooded and hilly, as well as a Spa-treatment (the Spa d'O Claire), a hairdresser and an equestrian center. At the bottom of the Gîte passes the greenway (by bike) that can take you from Chinon to Richelieu with 20 km of greenway through the small villages. An elevator is available from the Breche parking lot to go up to the castle, or by the 101 steps of the staircase for the more athletic😉.
