Close enough to walk to the excitement that Ybor has to offer, and a perfect distance to retreat when your ready to relax. A short 5 minute walk to the historic free trolley car, which connects all of Ybor with downtown Tampa and Channelside. An ideal location to explore all the Tampa has to offer. The space This fully renovated historic “cigar worker house” was built in 1913 and has updated modern appliances. Salvaged and repurposed wood from the original interior lines the ceiling of the entire house. There are two full modern baths with chemical free soap and showering options. Eco-conscious or reduced waste options were made as much as possible throughout the house and avoid using scented products. The master bedroom has vaulted ceilings, a bathroom suite, queen sized bed, full closet, and backyard access. The guest bedroom has a double bed and full closet. The kitchen has new Energy Star appliances, including a double wide fridge. It’s also fully stocked with table and stainless steel cookware, complimentary tea and coffee, a farmhouse sink and solid wood cabinets. The dining table can seat 4. There is a washer/dryer available for guest use. The living area has vaulted ceilings, a Roku smart TV and a large couch that can sleep one. Shaker peg rail lines the entryway so everyone can hang their coat, hat, bag and umbrella. This space gets wonderful daytime light and is a perfect place for work, study or relaxation. There is a large backyard that has free private parking accessed on 24th Street. The neighborhood also has free street parking. The house is surrounded by tropical and native plants. The front yard features a large wildflower bed designed to attract pollinators like butterflies and hummingbirds. Relax on the front porch with your coffee, beer/ wine or cocktails and enjoy the scenery :) Guest access Guests have access to the entire property and backyard. When you book the house you will receive a welcome message in your inbox which includes details about how to access the house. Other things to note This house is a labor of love. I am an artist/designer and renovated the house over the course of 3 years thanks in part to a grant from the Interstate Historic Preservation Trust. Featured throughout the house are paintings and sculpture collected and made by me. We have a strict no pet policy and will apply a $250 fee
