Layout: Our charming beach shack features an inviting open-plan living room and kitchen, two cozy bedrooms, a well-appointed bathroom, a relaxing deck, and ample parking for your car and boat. Guests will enjoy exclusive access to the entire property during their stay. Master Bedroom: A plush King-size bed with 100% European linen, artful decor, and views of the fire pit and seasonal vegetable garden. Single Bedroom/Dayroom: The second bedroom has a single bed and is multi-use, separated from the main living area by a large barn door. Leave the door open, extending the living area or lose a few hours with a good book and a cheeky day nap. The perfect place to watch the local birds enjoy the natives in the front garden. Bathroom: Modern with walk-in shower and contemporary amenities. Living/Dining: Lounge in comfort on linen sofas by the wood fire or gather around the oak dining table and soak in the ambience. Open the North-facing bifold doors that lead onto the deck and enjoy a truly indoor/outdoor experience. The Sunlit Kitchen: Fully appointed kitchen with everything you need. Start the day right with morning delights in our sunlit kitchen, featuring a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric oven and cooktop, breakfast bar, and coffee machine. Expansive Deck: Unwind on the vast timber deck, complete with gas BBQ, breakfast bar and cosy lounge furniture. There is no better place to snuggle up for some stargazing on a clear night. Laundry: The laundry is separate to the house and is equipped with an 8kg washing machine, drying racks, iron, and ironing board. Back Garden: Secluded little enclave with fire pit, seating and seasonal veggie garden. Guests are welcome to pick from the garden beds as they desire (available late Spring until mid-Summer). Front Garden: The wild native garden and luscious lawn invite afternoon picnics. Ample Parking: Tandem driveways accommodate two cars and a boat, if needed. Heating: Indoor fireplace and split system keep you cozy during the chilly months. Cooling: Stay comfortable with our reverse cycle split system. WiFi: Enjoy stable internet. Entertainment: All FTA channels, plus Netflix and Disney Plus. Fire: Snuggle up by the indoor fire or gather around the outdoor fire pit. Wood is provided for your convenience but please replace what you use (available for purchase at the local service station in Grantville). Pet Policy: Pets are welcome but please keep them clean and off furniture. The beach is perfect for dog walks but to protect our wildlife, they should always be supervised while outdoors. Swimming: While our beach isn't suitable for swimming, the inviting shores of Kilcunda and Phillip Island are a mere 15-20 minute drive away. Fishing: Head down to the end of Malcolm Drive for some great fishing. A favourite spot to catch up with the locals as they catch their dinner. Gummy sharks aplenty at high tide. Exploration: Embark on adventures to nearby attractions, from the vibrant wildlife of Phillip Island to the rustic charm of Loch in the Gippsland hinterland, both just a quick 15-minute journey away. Other things to note Grantville lies where were verdant hills tumble toward the sea, at the gateway to Phillip Island. The small seaside community offers access to coastal and bushland experiences, and is home to some of the cutest wildlife about. Things to do around Grantville; Visit Maru Koala and Animal Park to see native Australian wildlife and have a close encounter. Pick your own strawberries in season at Macca's Farm (Glen Forbes) and take away smallgoods, hydroponic fruit and veg, plus some gourmet deli items from the farm gate. Head to Bassine Specialty Cheeses (Glen Forbes) for a tasting of delicious cheese. Take the Grantville Foreshore Walk for sweeping bay views. Pack a picnic and head to The Gurdies Winery for superb views across the vines to shimmering waters of Westernbay. You bring the food, they supply the wine. Wildlife; Grantville is a popular spot for young families with Maru Koala and Animal Park offering plenty of friendly, furry native Australian wildlife to see. You can pat koalas, dingoes, pythons and joeys on a Close Encounter experience. Round out your visit with a spot of highly competitive mini golf next door at Pirate Pete’s Mini Golf. Just 15 minutes from Grantville is Phillip Island and the world-famous Penguin Parade - fans worldwide visit to watch these cuties make the evening pilgrimage from the sea to their homes in the sand dunes.
