Description
This is the perfect retreat for the individual/couple who would like to meditate, read quietly, or write passionately. This lovingly maintained space is off the beaten path. One side is near the back of the Taos Indian Pueblo area, and to the North East is Eagle Nest Lake State Park. The final stretch to the cabin is bumpy, there is no TV or wifi, but the breeze through the trees coming off the foothills is pleasant, and there is very little traffic. Open some windows, grab a book, and relax. The space The property is rustic, open, and pleasant. There is a loft bedroom upstairs, adjacent a powder room. A small library, sitting space with books and games, and a full bathroom is off the main body of the octagonal space. The entire cabin is approximately 1,000 sq feet. Guest access Guests will be able to access the entire cabin. There are no closets, only a couple small drawer stands. There is a crawl space under the cabin, and a tool shed adjacent to the cabin which are off limits. There is an exterior tree house. Guests, upon their own risk, may enter it. Warning signs are placed at the base of the staircase leading to the platform. Also, there is a piano. It is tuned once a year. There is no guarantee that it will be in tune. Other things to note Emphasis- the final stretch to the cabin is steep and bumpy. Awd or 4x4 is optimal. There is an outdoor tree house. Fireplace must always be out before leaving the cabin. Please turn off when leaving. Trash is to be removed at end of the stay. There are a series of large metal trash receptors near the junction of County Road B8 and Hwy 64. Highly visible and to the left as you approach the hwy from B8 when you leave.
