Welcome to the Suite at Raspberry Hill! We are nestled in the Northern MD farmlands with a myriad of adventures within a day’s drive. We are located just off Falls Rd. by Hwy 83 near River Valley Ranch, Towson, McDaniel, the Preakness/MD State Fair, Gettysburg, York, & M&T Stadium/Camden Yards. Take a day trip to Harrisburg/Hershey, Lancaster, Annapolis, & even DC. Or stay to enjoy the view as you hike one of many nearby trails, bike the Heritage Rail Trail, & boat at Codorus State Park! The space We’ve thought of everything for your stay at Raspberry Hill. Guests have access to the entire level with a studio living room, dining area, kitchenette, desk space and sleeping area. Netflix, Disney+ and Hulu are provided on the flatscreen TV with surround sound. A clothing rack and dresser are available, along with a dedicated workspace with USB and power outlets. Your spacious bathroom has baseboard heat and the shower is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for stays less than a week. A barnwood kitchenette is stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils (even marshmallow sticks for the fire pit!), a mini-fridge, a combination air fryer/toaster/oven, a single eye hot plate, and a microwave. Brew fresh coffee in the Keurig with a complimentary assortment of k-cups while you bake fresh waffles on a hotel-quality iron - waffle ingredients are provided for up to 4 large waffles during your stay! Guest access You’ll have full, private access to the basement level of our colonial home on almost 4 acres. You are welcome to pick raspberries, apples, cherries, and pawpaw fruit from our property when they are in season. Adirondack chairs as well as a fire pit with firewood and starter are available for your use in the yard close to the suite’s entryway. Feel free to walk down our country lane, sit on our swing under the pawpaw tree, and enjoy the of view the hills & farms that surround us! Please note that our neighbors own dogs that may be off leash in the surrounding countryside. Also, the entrance to the suite is located around the side the house so a walk through grass with path lighting is necessary to access the door. Other things to note We live with our two children and a goldendoodle on the levels above your suite, so you may hear our footsteps. When using the yard, you could meet our friendly dog and see our free range chickens or barn cats nearby.
