Peaceful home in Joondalup

Located in the heart of Joondalup, just a short walk to eateries, Lake Joondalup and Joondalup Health Campus. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe and most things are walking distance. Joondalup train station is on the Yanchep line, which extends north to Yanchep and south to Rockingham. Buses and train are available in Joondalup. You'll be sharing the house with myself and my two young dogs, Indigo and Bonnie, who are friendly, social and slightly cheeky. The space The house is centrally located in Joondalup. There are some gorgeous cafés located within walking distance with various opening hours, so do check beforehand, unless you're just ambling up the road. Joondalup Health Campus is less than 10 mins walk and TAFE and Edith Cowan University campus, a short bus ride away. The stunning and peaceful Lake Joondalup can be accessed at the bottom of my street. I often take my dog there and highly recommend it for bird-watching or kangaroo-spotting. A shared cycle/walking path laps around the lake, which is 17km in circumference. A new mountain bike trail is also currently under construction, easy access from the house. At home, you'll find the house peaceful and relaxing. You're welcome to use all the shared areas and facilities during your stay. Guest access Your bedroom and bathroom is located at the top of the stairs. The bed is queen-size and there is a built-in wardrobe and separate drawers. The bathroom is next to your bedroom and has bath, toilet, basin and shower. My room is across the landing with its own ensuite bathroom. You'll be the only guest(s) during your stay. Feel free to relax downstairs or upstairs during your stay. There is a sitting room with books, or loungeroom with television. Wi-fi is throughout the house. The kitchen has crockery, cutlery, cooking basics, fridge, oven and microwave and a pod coffee machine. It's water and overflow receptacles are small, so fill/empty as you go. But feel free to use to your contentment! ☕ There is a downstairs separate toilet by the laundry. The laundry has laundry liquid and fabric softener. There is a large fold-down washing line is in the garage. There is no internal dryer. Come and go as you please via the front door. Just be mindful of the dogs trying to follow you out! I have a front gate, so they shouldn't escape altogether. If they follow you out, just shuffle them back inside 🐕 🏠 During your stay I am currently in between jobs and studying and doing a small amount of work from home, so I will be here most of the time at the moment. My 2 dogs will also be home during your stay. I enjoy hearing about guests travels or backgrounds, but am also happy to give you privacy if you'd just like to do your own thing. I'm happy to work around what guests feel comfortable with. I typically get up early to walk the dogs, then head to work. When at home, I'm normally at my computer, sewing or cleaning! I tend to go to bed relatively early. The dogs are generally quiet, but you may hear them patter up and down the stairs... and they will come up for a pat. They can also get playful in bursts throughout the day, though I do try to manage this through outdoor activities! However, they do seem particularly fond of showing off when I am trying to talk to guests. Other things to note If I for a trip away on the weekend or public holidays, you may end up with the house to yourself.
