It is within easy reach of Congleton, Macclesfield, and Knutsford and being 10 minutes from the M6, has easy access to Chester, Manchester and Liverpool. A pub serving food is 1 mile away. We welcome well behaved pets, and are accessible for wheelchairs Non smoking premises. The space The Feathered Nest has its own gate from the drive shared with the owners. There is a small passageway to the front door, which opens into a hallway with an umbrella stand, and dog lead hook, a shoe rack and coat hooks. To the left you will find the open plan living room, dining area and kitchen, with patio doors onto a private enclosed patio. The sitting area in the shared garden is through a gate off the patio. There is a bed settee in the sitting area which can accommodate 2 guests. The kitchen is well equipped with a full sized sink, dishwasher, a double height fridge/freezer, a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, and microwave. There is a counter top with two hot plates, and an air fryer stored below the microwave. There is plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses, and cooking utensils as well as pans and ovenware. The bedroom has plenty of storage, with extra pillows in the wardrobe. The shower room is particularly spacious with non slip floor tiles. It has extra handles just in case you need some extra help. The toilet is slightly raised too. The property has underfloor heating throughout. Guest access The Feathered Nest is self contained and for your sole use. The washing machine and dryer are in an our store room and are for your exclusive use during your visit. Guests have a designated sitting area in the main garden and you are welcome to wander round our garden, though a lot of it is looked after by our wildlife. It is not a show garden. We also have a pond, which is fenced off. There is a large lawned area to the right of the guest house which is ideal for exercising dogs. Other things to note There is one bedroom and a bed settee in the open plan living area which can sleep 2 guests. We welcome pets, but we do have free roaming, friendly dogs on our property. Please contact us to discuss if your dog might be reactive to our dogs. Also let us know if they have a high prey drive and might chase our ducks or chickens. We do not allow dogs to be left in the accommodation alone, however we may be able to arrange dog sitting if you wish. If you are not comfortable with our dogs coming up to say hello, please let us know before you arrive. We do live in the country and, as much as we try to keep them out, the spiders do love The Feathered Nest, so I cannot guarantee it to be spider free. This is a farming community, so do expect some farming activity from time to time. The Feathered Nest backs on to fields which often have cows or sheep in, and you may find some inquisitive neighbours peering over the fence. We sell fresh free range eggs from our hens, and we grow our own flowers, vegetables, fruit and herbs. We have a 7Kwh EV charger which can be used by arrangement for a pre agreed price.
