The house is freshly renovated, stylish and furnished to a high standard. In the perfectly equipped kitchen you can cook and enjoy the food and a glass of wine on the terrace. Fast Internet for working available, as well as indoor and outdoor games for the whole family. *Attention: 2025 construction in the neighborhood (see below for info)* The space The 3-room house (110 m2) with the large enchanted garden (480 m2) and old trees is a gem. You have found the ideal starting point to explore the beautiful holiday region around the Rhine and the Untersee. In the nearby river you can swim or take a nice walk along the shore. Our medieval town of Stein am Rhein is one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland. During the Christmas season, the "Märlistadt", our special Christmas market, attracts visitors. Everything can be reached very quickly within walking distance or with the bicycles provided. The house is located on the well-known bicycle route Rhine and Lake Constance. You live on the edge of Stein am Rhein, away from the hustle and bustle, but in the immediate vicinity of shopping and the train station. The house is located at the end of a residential area, slightly set back and protected by the lots of greenery. It is located next to our residential building and is oriented in such a way that complete privacy is guaranteed. **Due to a large construction site in the neighborhood, from 2025 from Monday to Friday (rarely Saturday) is sometimes less quiet than normally expected. We can't estimate if it could be noisy at all and when it could be noisy… If there are disturbing noise emissions during the stay, we offer our guests an uncomplicated 15% reduction in price on request!** Excursions to the Rhine Falls, by boat to the island of Reichenau, a cool swim in the Rhine, a bike tour... or a visit to the cities of Zurich, Konstanz, Schaffhausen complete your stay. For children, the Ticiland amusement park is also nearby. Children can also use our two large trampolines! Amenities include: Living/dining room with very well equipped kitchen, dining table, sofa and Swedish oven. Bedroom ground floor: 2 single beds and desk. Bathroom ground floor: shower, toilet, sink. Attic bedroom: 160x200 double bed, sofa. Bathroom attic: shower, toilet, sink. Wipes and shower/shampoo are provided. Laundry room with washing machine. Insect repellent on the main windows. fast wifi. Garden with two loungers, hammock, garden table and chairs, barbecue/charcoal. Bicycles at your leisure. Note: No dishwasher and no TV. For this, it has various games (indoor/outdoor) for eventful holidays. Guest access A private access path leads from the parking lot to the entrance of the house. You open the door using a digital door lock. The code will be provided to you prior to arrival. Other things to note Dogs are welcome and can move freely in the fenced garden. Early check-in: only on request. If possible, we try to provide a 1h earlier check-in (3 p.m.) uncomplicated. We want to give you an impeccable place to stay. Since an even earlier check-in is associated with more organization and arrangements of the cleaning staff, we charge an amount of 30 Fr. per additional hour.
