The home is situated on a very high and steep bluff overlooking Lake Michigan and there is no direct beach access due to the steep nature of the bluff, so we ask all guests to stay away from the edge of the property. Getting to the public beach is easy; simply drive one mile in either direction along the road from this spot. This is the perfect destination for family reunions, weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, multiple family stays, and vacation getaways! While the property is directly on Lake Michigan, there is no direct access to the water due to the steep and tall bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. To access the water you can walk or drive down the road to Summit Park beach. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property. Other things to note There is no safe access directly to Lake Michigan due to the steep nature of the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, so guests are not permitted to access Lake Michigan from the property and must stay 30’ from the edge. Please note that the lawn mowing service does come sporadicly (between 9a-7p) so please do not be alarmed if you see someone mowing the lawn during your stay. We will do our best to schedule the lawn mowings outside of active booking times. Snow Removal Policy: During winter months, the driveway is maintained before each guest’s arrival. In the event of unexpected heavy snowfall during a guest’s stay, professional snow plowing may be required for safe access. If plowing is needed during your stay, a $145 plowing fee will be invoiced through the Airbnb Resolution Center.
