Nestled in the idyllic setting of the Thuringian Forest, our 70 m² forest loft with 30 m² terrace offers a picturesque retreat for artists, couples and free spirits. Let yourself be lulled to sleep by the crackling of the fireplace and awakened by the chirping of birds. Whether for creative inspiration, romantic moments or exploring nature - you'll find the perfect place for your time-out on our 2000 square meter property. The space The Waldloft near Oberhof, the famous winter sports and ski resort in the Thuringian Forest, is a unique retreat that artfully combines history, comfort and nature. In a compact space, it offers the perfect retreat for creativity, relaxation and community with a spacious living area, a separate office and bathroom. The open-plan design and lovingly selected furnishings, such as a 15th century crockery cabinet and a handmade sofa from Spain from 2023, give the loft an incomparable character and a deep connection to history. After a careful core renovation, the house, built in 1964 and once a weekend residence for GDR doctors, once again radiates its original magic. The location in the dense Thuringian Forest, secluded and without neighbors, offers an undisturbed break from everyday life. Whether for creative projects, romantic moments or as a starting point for adventures in nature and on the slopes of Oberhof - the Waldloft invites you to live in an ambience full of peace, inspiration and history. Guest access Our Waldloft is located on the Windberg. This makes getting up here a bit of an adventure, of course. You get to the Windberg along a forest path that is easy to drive on, which is paved with stones to make the climb easier. It's beautiful up here, but it's clear that the path is not necessarily for lowered cars. Before you set off, we will send you a map and a video. This should help you to find us without any problems. We want everyone to arrive safely and without stress, and of course we'll be there for you if you have any questions about how to get here. Here are a few highlights nearby that we really love: 1. dragon waterfall at the Lütsche: A short walk of about 15 minutes will take you to this impressive waterfall. It's located on the Lütsche, a lively mountain river that flows through the Lütschetal valley. The best part? You can even hear the rushing water from the house. It's simply a great place to relax. 2. Ohratal Dam, also known as Little Canada: This dam is not only important for the drinking water supply, but also a beautiful spot, especially in fall and summer. The area is reminiscent of Canada with its surrounding forests and mountains and offers fantastic views. 3. the Lütsche: This mountain river meanders through moorland, meadows and mountains and is perfect for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Whether you want to hike, go for a walk or simply enjoy the peace and quiet, the Lütsche is the ideal place. 4.
