Church View: Sweet History

Spread out & relax! Updated condo with sweet history sits on quaint Main Street along the Penobscot River, perched proudly above an iconic 1933 ice cream shop - yes, complimentary pints of our homemade ice cream are included for our guests. This slice of history was built in 1870 & still offers much charm; nestled somewhere between yesteryear & modern day. Please note that this condo is on the second floor & there is a fairly steep, yet wide & sturdy, staircase. WE ARE UNABLE TO HOST PETS. The space Church View is one of the original living spaces above Spencer's Ice Cream dating back to Norman Spencer & family in 1933. (Named "Church View" because the front window faces St. Anne's Church across the Street; Sunday bells ring at 9:30am) Although Church View has been updated throughout in 2018, the yesteryear charm of hardwood floors & interior woodwork is warm & inviting. Guest access Guests are always welcome to visit our lobby downstairs during our ice cream season (May to September) & sometimes to October weather permitting. Other things to note We've been making homemade premium ice cream since 1933 & we include complimentary pints of ice cream in your freezer upon arrival :) Please note we are unable to host pets as we manufacture food in adjacent space & often utilize Church View in process.
