Griffin Villa, treehouse near beach

Come stay at our Treehouse style villa located just a three minute walk from Playa El Valle. Made from mostly local elements and with the 2nd floor partially open, the space gives you the feeling of staying in a jungle treehouse while still enjoying modern comforts and wifi. The space Located on El Valle’s main street, this eco house is a true immersion into local Dominican culture right in the centre of our little beach town. A perfect space to host friends or family if you want to be right in the centre of El Valle life, with a completely open living space and kitchen on the ground floor and bbq. Guest access Guests will have access to the full house and shared backyard with Ganesh hostel, giving access to their pool. Other things to note As described, our treehouse villa is located on El Valle’s main street just a few minutes from the beach, and shares its backyard with a hostel which means access to their pool but also the hustle and bustle of travellers and vehicles on their way to the beach. Most weekends there are parties in the surrounding area so this is not suggested for people who are looking for quiet or being totally secluded although we offer a range of other villas in El Valle that would suit those needs. We have a shared quiet time policy of 11pm to 8am however please remember that neighbours behaviour is not under our control. Our facility is equipped with a backup power system. However, due to our remote location, if there is an issue with the external power grid that exceeds the capacity of our backup system, you may experience temporary power outages. The adventure of your stay will start with the road to El Valle, which due to intense rainfall can become half paved, half pot holes. As described, we are located up a hillside just off El Valle beach - the road is rough and SUVs or cars with high suspension are recommended. We are happy to recommend local taxi drivers if needed. There aren’t any big grocery stores nearby so please bring what you’ll need during your stay, Samana town is a great place to stop by to do this on the way. As the 2nd floor is partially open, we have a safe and locked closet area available to keep your valuables for your peace of mind. Certain seasons will increase the amount of mosquitos in the area. We provide mosquito nets on all of our beds and fans in the living spaces that help, but we recommend bringing mosquito repellent too.
