Welcome to our charming refurbished duplex apartment in the heart of trendy Amsterdam Oud West. Nestled on the third and fourth floors of a classic Dutch building (no lift), this dual-aspect apartment lets you enjoy sunlight at various times of the day and is a perfect spot to experience Amsterdam like a local. The space As you step inside, you'll find a welcoming hallway, allowing easy access to various rooms within the apartment, the stairs leading upstairs and a half toilet. To the left, the spacious living room and dining area offer a cozy spot to relax, watch Netflix and enjoy meals. The fully equipped kitchen leads to a quiet small west-facing balcony, perfect for a breakfast or lunch in the sun. On the other side, you will find a bright office with large windows that can also serve as a bedroom for one or two small kids, sleeping on the sofa bed. Upstairs, you'll find a comfortable bedroom for a peaceful night's sleep and a bathroom featuring a relaxing bathtub and a skylight that lets in natural light. Please note that this is our home, that we rent when we are away and we hope you'll feel the warmth and coziness of a real Amsterdam apartment. If you're seeking a typical sterile apart-hotel experience, this might not be the best fit for you. However, if you want an authentic taste of Amsterdam living, our flat is perfect. Ideal for solo travellers and couples. It could also work for small families with one of two children but they would need to be supervised as the flat (power sockets, stairs, etc.) hasn't been childproofed. Unfortunately, the flat is not suitable for individuals with limited mobility as there is no elevator available and the inside stairwell is quite steep. As we're looking for people who will take good care of our flat - no parties, smoking or pets allowed inside. Guest access You will have the whole flat for yourself.
