Coastal Sheep Farm 20 minutes from Nelson

Relax on a working coastal sheep farm 20 minutes outside of Nelson NZ. Our cozy house is a basic 1930's farm house set on 350 hectares of farm and native bush. A peaceful secluded environment only 20 minutes outside of Nelson NZ. Perfect for a family getaway with treehouses and forests to explore, a slackline, kayaks and plenty of Lego and other toys. The space A simple, newly refurbished 1930s farmhouse nestled between the Tasman Sea and native bush. There is plenty of exploring to be done either by kayak or on foot. Enjoy the magnificent views of the Tasman Sea. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the estuary by kayak as well as wandering around the entire farm. Please do not venture on the road past the Woolshed as this turns into our neighbours property. At low tide, you are welcome to walk across the estuary to the beach. This is the ONLY legal way to access the beach. If you go on the road, past the woolshed, you will technically be trespassing on our neighbours property. Other things to note Please do not go into the cow paddock. They are large unpredictable animals and you may be harmed. There is no cell service at the farm, however there is wifi/internet and we can call and text (through a setting on our phones). The water pressure is very weak. When you live on a working farm the water pressure will ebb and flow, so please be aware of this.
