The Pixie, Cotswolds

The Pixie is nestled in the idyllic village of Naunton in the heart of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by rolling hills, this cosy cottage for two adults is pet friendly, features a private hot tub, freestanding copper bath, log burning stove and is just a short stroll from the local pub. The space LOUNGE- A cosy space with tiled stone floor, two seater sofa, comfortable window seat and a wood burning stove. You will find a 40'' smart TV, a vintage record player and games, puzzles and books to keep you entertained. DINING NOOK – A romantic dining area for two, with bench seating and a pendant light, the space has and a handmade wood table as its centre piece. KITCHEN – A small but perfectly formed space. Two ring electric hob, microwave and oven combination, under counter fridge with small freezer compartment, 2 slice Smeg toaster, instant boiling water tap, Nespresso pod coffee machine. MASTER SUITE – With a double Cotswold Company bed and premium memory Emma mattress, exposed beams and original stone wall, not forgetting the beautiful copper freestanding tub, the bedroom is a seriously romantic space to unwind. SHOWER ROOM – The separate shower room boasts a huge walk-in rainfall shower, exposed original beams, anti-fog mirror and a heated towel radiator. GARDEN - A fully enclosed (fencing and stone wall) garden leads out from the front of the cottage. Partly laid to lawn with a patio area which enjoys the sun all day, it is perfect for summer staycations and secure for dogs. HOT TUB – A gravel path leads down the end of the garden to the hot tub for two. There is a privacy screen and the fencing surrounding is 6ft high. Available all year round. PRIVATE PARKING – A gravel driveway at the end of the garden offers private parking for one small-medium sized car. There is plenty additional free parking on the road outside the cottage and through the village. Guest access Guest enjoy private access to the whole cottage. Other things to note The Pixie is a very small cottage for 2 adults only- additional guests including children and infants can not be accommodated. The ceiling beams are low downstairs in the lounge (roughly 180-185cm). One beam in the bedroom is also low, if you are tall you’ll need to mind your head in my grade 2 listed cottage :) The stairs are extremely steep and not suitable for people with reduced mobility, please look at the photos if you’re not sure. Logs and kindling are not provided. Free off-street parking for one small-medium size car on the gravel driveway. There is also free on street parking immediately outside the cottage and throughout the village. There is no washing machine in the cottage. After cleaning the hot tub may not be at the recommended 37*C temperature when you check in, and it may take a few hours to reach this temperature.
