Wake up in our blissfully peaceful, comfortable 3/4 bed converted farm house and former pressoir, in the rural village of Orglandes, within easy reach of the friendly local shop/bar, the ports of Cherbourg /Ouistreham, the D-Day beaches, and Sainte-Mere Église (featured in the classic WW2 film, The Longest Day). With miles of quiet cycling/walking paths and empty west coast beaches to explore, as well as day trips to Mont Saint Michel, Saint-Vaast, Bayeux and more. Dogs very welcome. The space Spacious modernised farm house, with ample space to relax with family, pets and friends. Fully equipped kitchen, pantry, homely dining area and luxurious living room with fast WiFi, modern large TV and sound systems. BBQ and outdoors seating with large sun shade for the stunning sunny days! Wood fire and log burner available for colder months. Guest access Private parking and garden - we sometimes stay in the separate house to the left of the main house (separated by the garage) when doing the change overs/making repairs or gardening. Other things to note Community tennis and boules/pétanque court opposite. Historic church and German cemetery within minutes of the house. Country lanes provide ample opportunities for dog walking.
