Ice Fishing!? Welcome to our pond-front home in Central Maine! The home has 3 bedrooms and a furnished basement with a futon. It also has a full kitchen, dining room, living room and two full bathrooms. Easily fits 8 people, we also would like you to bring your small furry friends, just ask! We are 15 mins away from Lewiston/Auburn, where you have many restaurants and bars. You might never want to leave this special house on the pond! The space A beautiful lakefront house is all yours. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen and a furnished basement. We are the last house on a dirt road that is hugging the lake. We are lake front, you will have your own private dock. Parking space fits 3 cars. We have three decks for you to entertain and hang out. There is a fire pit as well. All bedrooms are upstairs. We have two bathrooms, one bathroom is in the main bedroom upstairs (en-suite) and the other bathroom is downstairs. Guest access The whole house is yours - or should I say the “camp” is yours as we say in Maine! Please note, there are a lot of stairs! You will need to walk up stairs to access the main house and the bedrooms. The house has three levels, all are furnished and available to you. The basement has a desk area and a futon. The first floor has a kitchen, dining room, full bathroom, and living room. The third floor has 3 bedrooms and an on-suite full bathroom. Other things to note Welcome to our picturesque lake side Maine home. It was built in the 1981, moved into this house in 2023 and we are so in love with it! The house is our perfect escape from busy Boston, we are very happy to share our lake side home with you!! Come and discover your perfect oasis! there are multiple stairs, stairs, stairs! This charming home has stunning westerly sunset views over Sabattus lake, and it is the last house on a peaceful dead-end street. You get private lake access with your own dock, all for you!! The lake is stunning during any season; enjoy summer water activities the chilling winter ice fishing! We also have two decks, one off the main bedroom and the larger deck is off the living room. You can kayak or canoe in the lake, we do not provide kayaks or canoes. GUESTS USE KAYAKS, CANOE, AND ANY OTHER WATER ACTIVITIES AT THEIR OWN RISK. GUEST SWIM AT THEIR OWN RISK. LIFE JACKETS MUST BE WORN WHEN DOING WATER ACTIVITIES We have a fully stocked kitchen, stocked with stainless steel cookware, including a large lobster pot (It’s New England after all). We also have children proof plates and cups. Our living room has a Roku-equipped TV and a soundbar, provides a cozy spot to relax and soak in the breathtaking views of the lake. Venture outside to the deck, where you’ll feel an overwhelming connection with the lake. Sleep upstairs in our charming bedrooms featuring high-quality, natural bedding, including latex mattresses, high quality cotton bedsheets and down pillows. The main bedroom has a king bed with on suit full bathroom that is recently renovated to make you feel like you are in a Turkish Hammam! The other two bedrooms have a queen bed and two twin beds (trundle) to accommodate your guests or kids, these beds are also high-quality and have natural bedding. For added flexibility, the furnished basement with a comfortable futon serves as a welcoming space for additional visitors. The futon is full size and has a memory foam topper for added comfort. Our whimsical basement, complete with a charming reading nook, captures the imaginations the kids and adults who are kids at heart! We have skiing resorts near by as well. There are a ton of hiking trails, that are close as well. Sabattus is famous for having great disc golf course! Conveniently close to the interstate for easy commuting from north or south. Sabattus is also 40 minutes to Portland (where you will find one of the best food scenes in the country) and 15 minutes to the twin cities of Lewiston/Auburn. The food scene is a pleasant surprise in Lewiston! Safety and security are important so we installed outdoor only security cameras. We wanted our guests to feel protected although our neighborhood is super safe. Enjoy the comfort of central heating, we also have charming electric fire places to cozy up the rooms. We offer window air conditioning during the summer. Restaurants: 🍴 bon Vivant (Lewiston), great restaurant for fine dining with a twist. Perfect for a dress up night out. Sander & Dram is in the basement of this restaurant. Fish Bones Grill (Lewiston), restaurant in a canalside old-mill building is an elegant spot for seafood & American fare. WillowsAwake Winery and No.10 Eatery (Leeds), rural winery is a modernized barn. Great farm to table food and season cocktails. Outdoor Activities: 🌳 Golf and Disc Golf: - Tabers Restaurant and Golf - Sabattus Disc Golf Course & Pro Shop Hiking: - Auburn Lake Nature Trail South Trailhead - Androscoggin Riverside Trail Trailhead - Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary Skiing: - Lost Valley Ski Area The house is decorated by the talented Gloria Noyes.
