Rustic log cabin perfect for your Yellowstone adventures. Cabin and barn set on 5 acres peacefully tucked away from the nearby town of Thayne and Star Valley. Enjoy watching the horses graze from the back porch or pick fresh chicken eggs for breakfast. Space for the whole family and plenty of parking. Located less than an hour from Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Area is known for gorgeous hiking, fishing and snow play in the winter. Star Valley Golf Course is also close by. The space Upstairs loft bedroom has a full bathroom and King sized bed with new memory foam mattress. A fold out sofa sleeper adds a twin bed if desired. There’s plenty of space to add an air mattress and windows provide sunset views of the barn. Please note that while the upstairs bedroom has plenty of visual privacy, it is open air to the living room below. Stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep, please use caution. Lower bedroom has a bunk bed with queen mattress on the bottom and twin bed on the top. Both mattresses are new memory foam mattresses and very comfortable. Bathroom and shower on the lower level along with a washer and dryer for convenience. Newly added A/c splits for comfort during hot summer months. Guest access Rental includes full access to the cabin and outdoor areas including the fire pit in the backyard. ***please be advised it is possible there will be a fire ban during the summer months, please check with us before making a fire*** There is a basement apartment with separate entrance which houses a caretaker. You will still have plenty of privacy. Additionally the property has a separate RV/Camper hookup, ***this may be rented out during your stay*** or if available you are welcome to bring your own camper and rent it out for a reduced fee. Please do not enter the barn or horse areas for safety reasons. Please do not feed the horses without supervision.
