Slay your vacay with a stay at Sunny Beach Box in Sunderland Bay. This recently renovated beach house says goodbye to crisp white walls and hello to coloured coastal MAXimalism! Just seconds walk to enjoy the sunset over Sunderland Bay and Pyramid Rock, a short walk to Surf Beach, a 5 minute drive to Smiths Beach and centrally located on Phillip Island making it a 10 minute drive to any attraction or surf break. The space Sunny Beach Box is suitable for groups of friends or families who want a getaway to remember that includes: - Four distinctly different bedrooms - Two bathrooms (one with a bathtub) - Open plan kitchen, dining, living area - Wrap around balconies with ocean glimpses - Grassy backyard with BBQ and outdoor entertaining area The bedrooms Bedroom 1 - The Rockstar Room This secluded space comprises both bedroom and reading room. Nestle into the vintage leather couch as you flip through a design book or watch a flick (also a great space to tuck the kids away if you’re entertaining upstairs!). The cloud-like queen bed faces a mounted TV for maximum hotel vibes. Nice! Unpack and store luggage in a roomy wardrobe so you can fully enjoy the space and your stay. Bedroom 2 - The Bunk Room These built-in bunks will have you feeling like you're in a cabin sailing at sea. Complete with portholes for a nautical nod, roomies can stow away in one of four single beds. Ahoy my matey’s! Bedroom 3 - The Apricot Delight Room Gelato coloured goodness coupled with the warmth of rattan make this room with a queen bed a sweet stay. You’ll be surrounded by motifs of surf and the sea… in fact when the tide is high you’ll hear the surf from your window! Other features include a wardrobe that’s waiting for you to unpack, equipped with a Dyson reverse cooler and heater. The room also has a ceiling fan, perfect for warm days and balmy nights. Bedroom 4 - The Peach Fuzz Room Painted in Pantone colour of the year ‘Peach Fuzz’, this dreamy room with a double bed will have you plotting your next travel adventure while you enjoy your current one. Thumb your way through travel guides and stick a pin in the map to tell us where you’re from! This room has the same delightful features as ‘The Apricot Delight’ room (wardrobe, fans and such). The upstairs living area Light and bright any time of day this open plan area has three zones designed to flow together. Kitchen The fully equipped kitchen comes complete with pantry essentials plus cookware and serveware for those who love to entertain. Appliances include an integrated fridge freezer (there’s an additional fridge freezer downstairs for overflow because we get it, keeping both your food and wine chilled is a must!), dishwasher, electric cooktop and oven, Smeg toaster and kettle, Delonghi coffee machine as well as other staples like a rice cooker, smoothie blender and toastie maker. Dining The dining table is a feast for the eyes! The not-so-subtle pink clam shell table is designed to seat 8-10. It’s also a great space for board games (there’s plenty in the house). When the weather is stunning, slide all of the doors open for a sea spray breeze. Living A comfy couch and a big coffee table make it easy to chat the day away… or chuck a movie on and chill, you’re on holiday after all! The backyard The big grassy zone is perfect for backyard games. Oh wait, there’s a beach box packed full of them! From quoits to corn hole there’s faves plus more. You’ll also find some beach buckets to borrow for the beach to save you buying them. The beach box also has plenty of gym gear for those whose day isn’t complete without getting a sweat on… go on, give the back deck a workout. The back deck is also a great spot for yoga. The other beach box is for racking your boards up after a surf. Shaka! Rinse off under the outdoor shower, and yes it has warm water, this is Phillip Island after all! Fling your wetty over the fence for surf, sleep, repeat action. Other features include a picnic table and rows of chairs and umbrellas for a bit of Positano, but make it Phillip Island vibe! There’s also a four burner barbie that’ll cook for the whole crew once fired up. What’s provided - All bedding, including linen, quilts, pillows and blankets - A towel for each guest as well as hand towels and a bath mat for each bathroom - A portacot (BYO linen) and high chair - A washing machine - A fully equipped kitchen with basic supplies and appliances as described above including a coffee machine - Access to backyard beach boxes - BBQ with gas bottle - Covered carport and driveway with suitable parking for up to four cars or a small boat and trailer - New split system heating and air-conditioning in upstairs living area and downstairs bedroom - Free wifi - Sonos speakers to pair so you can play your playlists (one upstairs and one downstairs) What to bring - Beach towels - Food and beverages (sorry no mixers are supplied!) Guest access You’ll have access to the entire house except for a locked wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom used to store linen and supplies. Other things to note As fun as it would be, this isn’t a party house, so no parties… and yes our neighbours will tell on you!
