The House of the Monts d'Or

Perched on the heights of St-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or, 20 minutes from the center of Lyon (car or metro), the Maison des Monts d'Or is a haven of peace offering you all the comfort and necessary amenities thanks to its generous indoor and outdoor spaces. This charming house (not overlooked), nestled in a green setting can accommodate up to 15 people making it the ideal place to spend holidays and moments of conviviality with family or friends. The space From the moment you walk in, you will be captivated by the spacious and bright living room, thanks to its large bay windows that offer stunning views of the Monts du Lyonnais. On the same level, you will have access to a fully equipped, independent kitchen measuring 35 m², featuring a central island and a dining area (table for 15 people) where you can gather with friends and family. Its exterior access via a glass door leads out onto a terrace that offers views of the surrounding area and invites you to take a stroll in the garden. Two living rooms are at your disposal, equipped with a piano, TV, and a bookcase, allowing you to enjoy a convivial space for several people or moments of tranquility. The house has six bedrooms that are at your disposal. Bedroom 1: 160-cm bed + bathtub + walk-in shower Bedroom 2: 160-cm bed + bathtub + separate toilet Bedroom 3: 160-cm bed + shower room Bedroom 4: 140-cm bed + shower room Bedroom 5: 160-cm bed Bedroom 6: 55" (140 cm) bed 3 inflatable single beds for an extra fee Bedrooms 5 and 6 have a shared bathroom with 2 sinks. There are 4 separate toilets. The house has a laundry room in the basement with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and an extra refrigerator at your disposal. In the basement, a room with a ping-pong machine for sports and a fully-equipped movie theater will immerse movie lovers in a unique cinematic experience. Enjoy alfresco meals or relax on the terrace, which features garden furniture, a large wooden table, a BBQ, and a griddle, while taking in the stunning view of the lush surroundings. Its large, wooded garden of 6,000 m² features a swimming pool surrounded by greenery (automatic mowing) and equipped with deck chairs where you can relax, a tennis court for sports enthusiasts, and a swing for children. Please note that the pool is covered and secured (alarm), and that swimming is at your own risk. The house has private parking that can accommodate up to 5 cars including two spaces in the shade of a carport. Please note that it is strictly forbidden to organize events within the house (meeting/family meal, birthday, EVGF or other) and to bring outside people into the house who are not included in the rental. The house also has an outdoor security camera on the entrance side. There is a motion detector inside that only works when the alarm is activated. Upon arrival, the beds will be set up and some supplies of basic necessities will be available to you (toilet paper, sponge, dish soap). Bath towels will be provided upon arrival, but not beach towels. The rest of the supplies are the responsibility of the tenants. This house is rented only during the summer holidays. The owners and their children live there during the year. . We have a Chanel manager who allows us to request a security deposit. Indeed, a deposit of €2,000 (only by bank transfer) will be required before check-in. Upon arrival, a document to be signed will be given to you certifying that the security deposit has been paid. The deposit will be remitted in full to the tenant if no property damage is noted. If not, if damage is found (broken, damaged), the landlord will retain a certain amount from the deposit depending on the damage caused. The tenant will also need to sign a rental agreement. The house can be booked from a minimum of 4 nights. During your stay, you will be welcomed and assisted by a young bilingual woman (private concierge service) who will help you feel at home very quickly in this house for your well-deserved vacation. The house is above all a rental house for guests who want to gather with family or others for the duration of a stay and not a hotel. The services provided correspond to those of a rental house and not those of a hotel. A rental agreement is also to be signed on site!
