Outside, you'll find a spacious deck where you can soak in the breathtaking views while sipping your morning coffee or unwinding with a glass of wine as the sun sets behind the peaks. Fire up the grill for a barbecue or gather around the fire pit for marshmallow roasting and stargazing under the clear mountain skies. This home features one bedroom, one bathroom, and a cozy loft space; perfect for curling up with a good book, or playing a round of cards. The front porch looks out to Grandfather Mountain, while the back porch and fire pit area looks out unto the luscious forest Other things to note The bed size is a queen, but a short queen (i.e. a similar size that would fit in an RV). The loft space should only be used for those who are physically able. The stairs are steep and the overhead area is not standing height. Please note, there is not a washer/dryer or a dishwasher in the home. We do supply a drying rack for used dishware. We ask that if the fire pit is used that it be put out accordingly. In the winter months it is recommended to have AWD or 4WD. The road is state maintained but it may take time before it is cleared. It is not guaranteed that the road up to the house will get scrapped or salted during stays. The driveway is not steep but we advise using caution and planning accordingly in the event of snowfall.
