The Duke of Northumberland's crest is featured over the front door as he used to reside here when visiting the Tyne Valley. Further afield, embrace the great outdoors by visiting the Northumberland National Park, with vast moorland landscapes, rolling hills and tranquil lakes to explore, or the Kielder and Hamsterley Forests with their glorious lakes and woodlands, great places for a peaceful hike.
