The space Dreamwood Cottage is a cozy, family-friendly retreat offering everything you need for a relaxing stay by the water. 🛏️ Bedrooms: Primary Suite: King-size bed, cozy bedding, TV, private bathroom with oversized soaking tub and separate shower. A sitting area offers a calming view of the canal. Second Bedroom: Queen-size bed, stylish decor, and TV. Third Bedroom: One twin bed and one full bed, with a fun comic book theme and a TV — perfect for kids or playful adults. 🛁 Bathrooms: The primary bathroom features a large soaking tub and separate shower. The second full bathroom includes a tub/shower combo and is easily accessible from the second and third bedrooms. 🍴 Living, Dining, and Kitchen: The open-concept space connects the living room, dining area, and fully stocked kitchen. Guest access 🏡 Guest Access and Important Safety Notes Guests will have full, private access to the entire house, including all indoor living spaces, the screened-in porch, the outdoor deck with seating and BBQ grill overlooking the canal, and the driveway area. We encourage you to enjoy the outdoor deck area, which offers peaceful canal views and is the perfect spot for grilling and relaxing. Please note: 🚗 Parking is only permitted in the driveway. Please do not park on the grass to help us maintain the property. 🚫 The backyard beyond the deck is not intended for guest use or exploration. While there is a metal fence, wildlife — including alligators — can cross over it. 🐊 Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times when outside on the deck or near the canal. 🚫 No swimming, wading, or entering the canal is allowed. 🚫 Please do not feed the wildlife or throw any objects into the canal. Lake Waccamaw is a beautiful, natural environment full of wildlife. Respecting these simple guidelines will help ensure a peaceful and safe stay for everyone. Alligators that are fed by people lose their natural fear of humans, which can lead to aggressive behavior and serious safety risks. Sadly, alligators that become habituated to human food often have to be euthanized to protect the community. Violating this law can result in legal penalties, fines, and puts the safety of everyone at risk.
