Get comfy inside the log cabin, enjoy nights roasting marshmallows out by the fire, and listen to the tranquil year long creek while rocking on the front porch. The space *Please note the indoor fireplace is not currently in working condition and will not be available for use during the month of March* This cabin is located on the same property with Ivybrook Cottage: the outdoor spaces feel separate and private and the driveway is shared. We ask all guests to keep to their portion of the property so as to ensure for the comfortability of all guests. We can’t wait for you to experience this property. The pictures truly do not do it justice. Imagine feeling as if you’re at a cabin in the Smokey Mountains, except you’re 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville! The creek runs all along the front of the cabin with views from the front porch. You can hear the creek year round. Inside boasts two bedrooms plus a loft room: a bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bathroom; a bedroom with a king bed and adjacent pull out twin trundle; and a loft room with a pop up twin trundle that can be converted into a king. We have a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, and coffee bar. (Please note that this cabin does not have a dishwasher). Two full bathrooms- one ensuite to the downstairs master with a walk in shower, and one for guests to share upstairs with a shower/tub combo. Our cozy living area has a wood burning fireplace (available for use from October-March) and a large 65 inch smart TV. The downstairs primary bedroom has a king bed with ensuite bathroom, ensuite screened porch with rocking chairs, and a smart TV. The upstairs primary bedroom has a king bed, a smart TV, and a pull out trundle bed with two twins. The upstairs loft has a twin pop up trundle bed that can be used as two twin beds or a king sized bed if desired. Please note that this property shares space with a smaller cottage at the top of the hill. ***Please be advised that this is a cabin in the woods. We like to be clear that you may encounter wildlife including various bugs, snakes, bears, foxes, raccoons, skunks, and other animals. Please keep all trash/food inside the cabin or secured in the outdoor trash bin with latches. Please do not leave any food/trash stored on the deck or in your vehicles. There will be bugs who occasionally find their way inside the cabin. While we strive for a sparkling clean interior and do have our cabin professionally treated, we are in a heavily wooded area and ask you to consider this.*** Guest access Guests have full access to the cabin, screened in porch, and fire pit. Creek access is available at the front of the property for use at your own risk. There is an outdoor security camera located on the property that helps to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests. There are no cameras located indoors. Other important info: We do not allow animals, parties/gatherings, or smoking/vaping. Please review the house rules for additional details. As a family, we enjoy sharing our cabin with guests and ask that you comply with our house rules. Doing so helps keep the cabin in excellent condition for future guests. Check out procedures include: 1. Gather used towels and place in downstairs shower. 2. Strip beds and place linens in a pile in the laundry area. 3. Empty all trash cans. Put bagged trash in the exterior can and latch the cover. 4. Rinse any unwashed dishes and leave in sink. 5. Check that propane grill is off and replace the cover. 6. Turn off all lights/fans and lock the door on your way out.
