Stylish Design House | Cotswolds
Description
This five bedroom Cotswolds farmhouse could easily be mistaken for a small boutique hotel. With luxury living areas designed for both entertaining and unwinding in style (you’ll find a secret cinema room tucked away behind a hidden door), Wood Farm House will surprise and delight with its modern twist on English traditionalism. The space Kitchen, Living & Dining Areas: Beyond the honey-hued Cotswolds stone facade awaits a grand entrance hall with statement chequered tiles, enticing you towards the opulent open-plan orangery. Here, you’ll find the central living, kitchen and dining space. Think beautiful bespoke furniture, marble-topped Olaf kitchen cabinets, a dedicated bar space for shaking up cocktails, and a walk-in larder from your wildest dreams. A large farmhouse-style dining table takes centre stage for gathering and feasting, perfect for celebratory soirees and family get-togethers. Zip down the cosy red ticking stripe blinds that wrap their way around the room, to transform the space from day to night. On this floor you’ll also find a separate sitting room with sinking velvet sofas and a log burner, a secret snug cinema room, and a downstairs loo. Each carefully curated corner is as playful and as inviting as the next, with a classic Cotswolds palette juxtaposed with pops of colour and playful patterns. The Bedrooms: More magic awaits upstairs. On the first floor you’ll find three beautiful double bedrooms (one with an en-suite shower room), a deliciously dinky bunk room, and a chic family bathroom. Up another small set of stairs, you’ll find a further twin room in the eaves and a shower room. Think frills, Roberts radios, patterned wallpaper, rattan shades, scalloped shelves, and walls dotted with artwork sourced from the established HAM interiors – a real design lovers haven. Outside: The lawn at the front of the house is split down the middle with a fragrant lavender-lined path leading you to the front door. The garden then wraps around the property with double door access from the orangery. If you’re visiting in summer, you can expect a swanky Ofyr BBQ that doubles up as a fire pit, honing the art of outdoor cooking. Other things to note Dogs: The house does not accept dogs.
