The 2.45 acre tract has evolved into 7 units in memory of Deborah and Derek Hoskins who contributed greatly to Cultural Arts development in Harnett County and surrounding areas It has also been done in Honor of Carolyn Dorman who taught Art, Physical Education, Showchoir, and Gospel Choir at Erwin High School and Triton High School for a cumulative total of 41 years. They had no children, but they had 7 large show dogs. They would keep building on to the house as they started a GED in their home and a dance studio. They also started a nutritionist building. The outside house to the left was a library and student building. The house to the right was built and had machines to help her with her severe arthritis. In Downbeat Duffy, the 2 bedrooms were added on to and used to take care of both sets of their parents. In the last 3 years of her life, Deborah was totally bedridden. Her husband died in 2019 with dementia, brain tumors, and pneumonia. In 2020, my work team and I took care of her until her death. it was a precious going away party. Tnere was so much peace and grace given her during her death. Deborah and Derek's tombstone has a ballroom dancing couple with the scripture on it, "Let them praise him with dance." Debbie and Derek's life was a true love story where they loved people and the Lord.. Enjoy your stay!
