The 11th Street Cottage is your place to get away from it all AND be just a few minutes from the Washington waterfront and historic downtown. Perfect for short & long term stays. Multiple discounts available. The space The cottage is at the side edge of our property. Our house is on the other side of our property with our garage in between our house and the cottage. The cottage is tucked in by bushes and has its own cobblestone pathway, helping it feel separate and private. Our backyard has a privacy fence separating it from the cottage's (unfenced) back yard so that your back deck feels truly secluded. 97% of the year the cottage is quiet and peaceful but you should be aware that there are a few days during the year that you will hear joyous celebrating from the Ell Hotel (a beautiful historic hotel that borders our property on the side of the cottage and occasionally hosts weddings) or happy play from neighborhood kids. River Vibes also offers paddle board and kayak rentals as well as delicious smoothies and popcorn. *Grocery essentials (we do this one ourselves) - send us a list of your grocery essentials and any preferred brands; we shop for you and get them in the fridge prior to your arrival. Don't worry about running out to grab your favorite creamer or cereal - use every minute of your vacation to relax and have fun. We are centrally located in Washington which makes just about every place in town a 5 minute or less car ride from us including to the downtown and riverfront, the local hospital, and Food Lion or Walmart. (The waterfront is about 11 blocks from us.) Greenville and ECU are only 30 minutes away. New Bern is about 40 minutes away. The Outer Banks are 1.5 hours away. RDU is 2 hours away.
