Description

Reconnect with nature at this peaceful escape. Our 24-ft tiny house sits on 6 acres of open green space with a fire pit and bike storage. It’s fully equipped for a quick overnight or a longer stay. Just minutes from DuPont and Pisgah National Forests, and a short drive to Brevard for great food and local charm. Whether you’re here to hike, relax, or explore, this is the perfect place to unwind. The space We’re located just off Crab Creek Road. Our property is easy to find—but also easy to miss if you’re not looking. Keep an eye out for a black fence with numbers on it. The gravel driveway leads to our tiny house, tucked on 6 acres of open field and a bit of forest. While it feels secluded, we are close to the road, and it can get a little noisy during rush hour. We live in the countryside, so you may come across some bugs. While we do our best to keep them out of the tiny house, it’s still possible you’ll see one or two—especially during warmer months. It can also get very sunny, so we recommend bringing a hat or sunscreen if you plan to spend time outside. There’s a small shaded roof near the tiny house that’s a great spot to cool off. We also have a fire pit you’re welcome to use—just bring your own firewood. Well-behaved dogs are welcome! We ask a one time pet fee, per animal. Please keep them leashed or under voice control at all times. Don’t leave pets unattended or allow them to roam—this is for their safety since we are near a busy road. We also have a dog, and we want to avoid any negative interactions. Please pick up after your pet and place waste in a doggy bag and the outdoor trash can. Our main house is set back from the tiny house. We keep to ourselves, but you may see us around working on projects, playing with our dog, or heading out for the day. Feel free to say hello—but no pressure! We kindly ask that guests not approach our house without an invitation, as our dog will bark and we value our privacy. If you need anything during your stay, just message us through the app. Thank you! Guest access There’s an outdoor seating area and a covered porch in front of the tiny house—perfect for relaxing after a day outside. Under the porch, you’ll find a bike stand and four hooks to hang your bikes. We also have a designated fire pit you’re welcome to use (please bring your own firewood), and parking is available along the gravel driveway. Feel free to walk your dog in the grassy area in front of the tiny house and in the open field to the right. We’re just minutes from some amazing trails in DuPont and Pisgah National Forest—great for biking, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. Other things to note Please note that the loft bed requires climbing a short set of steps. There are handles to help you up and down, but we want all guests to be aware of the physical requirement involved in staying here. We live out in the country, so bugs are just part of the experience. While we do our best to keep them out of the tiny house, you may still see a few—especially in warmer months. Also, the weather can change quickly here. It might be sunny and warm one day, and then rainy and cool the next. We recommend packing layers and rain gear just in case. Don’t forget to bring your own firewood if you’d like to use the fire pit! We do allow pets! We require a one time pet fee pre animal. If you’re bringing a pet, they must be leashed at all times while outside. For everyone’s safety—including our own dog—please do not allow pets to roam freely. You’re welcome to walk your dog in front of the tiny house or in the open field across the driveway near the cows.
