The space Windy Hill Lodge perfectly bridges the outdoor space of the beautiful mountains and natural elements with the interior. Nature’s atmospheric effects will move you! As you step into this no-pressure and immersive environment the great room features a 30 ft. Tennessee Field Stone fireplace, open kitchen and bar. The dining room branches off the great room with an exquisite view of Whiteside Mountain and the perfect sunset. Also included on the entry level floor is a secondary bedroom with a en-suite bathroom, a “Happy Place” library filled with books, games and arts and crafts. Also on the main floor, is a powder room/half bath and laundry room which are easily accessible to guests. The Lodge interior was professionally designed by top designers exhibiting the best nature of luxury. Built as unique and timeless for every client. On the upper level along with a king bedroom is a bunk room with one queen bed and three twins, a en-suite bathroom with shower/tub combination and a kitchenette stocked with teas, coffees, mini fridge, sink and utensils. The tree house-inspired bunk room is a guaranteed fun time for kids. The spacious bunk room includes playful features like a charming secret reading nook, rock climbing walls, stage filled with a variety of costumes for every possible character. Also included is a fort with a swinging bridge that will make kids feel like they're up in the trees, a thrilling enviorment! On the lower level along with the two king size beds are three twin beds and a concealed bed in a credenza with a large bathroom to service the twins and the concealed queen bed, movie theater, exercise and games rooms. The 16 person movie theater offers the best in – home cinematic experience with relaxed ethos and thrilling surround sound. Popcorn lovers will rejoice when they see all the “Fixins” that accompany the nostalgic popcorn maker. The large popcorn bowls accommodate up to 10 hands at one time so no one has to wait! The whole house is a marriage of an uncluttered feel and sophistication, a view from almost every room. Enjoy Windy Hill year around – seasonal patterns are endlessly fascinating. Other things to note What’s expected of my guests: I expect my guests to uphold certain standards and be considerate and respectful of my home, my neighbors, and my community. Guests must respect the surrounding community and its rules. This includes but is not limited to: designated quiet hours, parking locations, number of cars allowed, and proper disposal of trash and debris in designated areas. I have bears in my neighborhood. They are very destructive when attempting to locate food. Please call the caretaker to come and get it when you accumulate an abundance. Guests must abide by the rules for each reservation as long as those rules are consistent with Airbnb terms or policies. This includes: check-in and checkout times; number of guests; pets, smoking, or commercial film/photography; and other rules agreed upon at the time of booking. Guests should also return any keys as agreed upon by both parties and promptly communicate with Susan if issues come up. Guests may not leave Windy Hill Lodge or its grounds in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning or repairs beyond normal wear. Cleaning fees are only meant to cover the cost of standard cleaning between reservations. Guests may not disconnect or otherwise obscure any permissible and properly-disclosed security devices. Access any areas clearly designated as off-limits, locked, or containing personal or confidential information.
