Kioma homestay

If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is just the right place for you! With lovely views to a garden full of flowers, terrace, big backyard and BBQ corner - our homestay is perfect for relaxation. Newly renovated rooms located in the private part of the house offer the comfort of the city living (like full bathroom in the sleeping area + water closet in the living area; air conditioner for heating and cooling etc), yet being in the countryside. The space The rooms you use are private with separate entrance, located in one side of the house - the other side is for the hostess of the house. Terrace, garden and barbecue area are shared with the hostess of the house. Don’t worry, she is fabulous! :) On the first floor is dining and living area with a fireplace corner. Kettle is provided, but there is no kitchenette - please scroll down to "other things to note" section for additional information on catering options. On the second floor is sleeping area (+ full bathroom), furnished with one queen size bed (160 cm) and a sofa bed (160 cm when unfolded), accommodating up to 4 people. Travelling cot for a baby is always available, just let us know in advance so we can prepare it. Upon prior agreement and for extra cost it's possible to use washing machine, located in other side of the house. Our house and terrace is smoking free area! For smoking outside please ask for an ashtray. Guest access Our homestay is located 5 km from the Põlva town and 12 km from picturesque Taevaskoja hiking trail/ Ahja River Valley Landscape Reserve. The location can be reached most comfortably by car (ca 0,5 h drive from Tartu), but the Põlva train station is 9 km and bus station 5 km away if you would like to come by bike or take a hike. We greet you in person! Upon possibility check in and/or check out times can be flexible. During your stay Our hostess is always on site. We are also available via Airbnb or other agreed communication channel. Other things to note Make your stay even more special and ask for personal offers for catering: our hostess is ready to prepare a homemade simple breakfast/lunch/dinner as well as more festive table. Catering is available at an additional cost by prior agreement and based on your wishes.
