Pier & Simple ICW Cottage,

Looking to have an amazing getaway in a quaint cottage with well-appointed amenities, and have your own private pier?! Look no further! Nestled in a small community, less than 15 minutes from Oak Island beach and 0.2 miles from the boat ramp, you will find a small, quiet oasis for relaxing and rejuvenating. The space Affectionately referred to as “Pier & Simple”, this Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) bungalow has a newly remodeled full kitchen for dining in or preparing snacks for your day out on the boat and/or beach. This cottage has two bedrooms, (1) Queen and (1) Full bed, and (1) bathroom with standup shower suited for a maximum of (4) guests. - Keurig Coffee Maker is provided with (2) pods to get you started - After soaking up the sun you’ll find two dueling swings that you can relax in under the shade of the large live oak while you enjoy the entertaining wildlife or boats of the ICW (you can see the dolphins for yourself!) - Parking for (2) cars and a boat trailer or golf cart trailer. - Smart tv so you can log into your Netflix/Hulu/Disney accounts - High-speed internet is provided and a dedicated desk space - Washer and dryer for your convenience. Guest access Keypad door with code. No key required. Other things to note A starter kit of dish soap, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and laundry pods will be provided to help get you started on your stay. Linens are provided through a cleaning/linen service for your convenience (note: linens are provided but guests are responsible for making beds. If you would like your beds to be made a $20 fee is required). Sheets, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, bath-mat, kitchen towels, and beach towels are provided for up to (4) guests. - Lowes Foods Grocery Store is located on your way to the beach just 12 minutes away. - May Way convenience store for drinks/ice/gas is just ¼ mile away. - The back yard that sits directly next to the ICW and includes private pier. (Note this area is NOT fenced and is not suitable for young, unattended children.) - Kayaks may be launched from the boat ramp 0.2 miles from the house or the sandy area at the opposite end of Sunset Harbor. (Note: There is not access to launch your kayak from the owner’s pier.) - As a smoke-free property, including vaping, we maintain a strict no-smoking policy. Guests found in violation will be subject to fines, an increased cleaning fee, and reimbursement for any damages. - Please be aware that we do not offer refunds for weather-related circumstances, natural events, power outages, or other unforeseen factors beyond our control. There are local treasures to be discovered in the surrounding area of Oak Island, Southport, Fort Caswell, and Holden Beach. You’ll find local coffee shops, diners, and breweries to compliment your stay. Enjoy a relaxing coastal getaway, just minutes from the boat ramp, beaches, seafood, and wonderful memories!
