Take a break and unwind in this peaceful oasis. Stay for yourselves with animals and nature just outside the village. You will be staying on a small sheep farm with many animals that give life to the landscape. Say hello to the herding dog Svante and meet our chickens and ducks that give us eggs. The whole farm exudes genuine rurality and tranquility on an island that during the summer is full of life. The cottage is old, but newly renovated with a tasteful mix of genuine rurality and a little everyday luxury. Guest access You have access to the cottage you live in as well as your own kitchen and shower/toilet in a separate building right next door. Free parking in the designated place in the yard. There are eight steps from the lawn to the cabin's front door. The stairs are made of natural stone so they are a bit uneven and the steps have slightly different heights. May be good to know for those who may have a little trouble with stairs. Other things to note You will be staying on a small farm. That means there's life here. Our Border Collie Svante is in the yard. He's very social and loves everything and everyone. This makes the place best suited for those who are okay with dogs. If you are not and do not want to be welcomed by him when you arrive or want to avoid meetings, it is of course perfectly okay, but please give us a heads-up about it before you arrive and we will keep him away. We allow pets in the cottage, which may make it less suitable as accommodation for those who have a fur allergy or similar. The roosters wake up early and are keen that their hens should not sleep too long. The hens are keen to tell the others that they have laid an egg and then the others enthusiastically call back. The ewes want to keep track of their lambs and then they call them. They also inform each other if the grass is tastier on another patch or if they think we are bringing something good. If this is not a problem for you, you will have a fantastic experience with us!
