Escape to our cozy & clean chalet in the picturesque Catskills! With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a/c, lightning fast Starlink internet, a kitchen with a 6 burner Viking professional gas range & large oven, you may not want to leave! Tucked into 3 forested acres that provide a sense of privacy & serenity, but minutes away from hiking trails, kayaking, fishing & many quaint towns like Livingston Manor & Roscoe! At night relax by the fire pit & enjoy the stars & the sounds of our babbling brook below The space Tucked into 3+ serene acres in the Catskills Park & surrounded by countless towering trees & beautiful mountains, you likely won't see another person during your stay. It is truly a magical getaway from the city any time of year & one of our favorite places to stay. We're minutes from hiking, kayaking, swimming, skiing & all the wonderful things the Catskills offers (see our guidebook). The cabin is open-concept except for the completely private downstairs guest room & bathrooms. The upstairs loft with en suite bathroom & balcony has a half wall so is technically open to the living room below. While we love dogs, we sadly can't accommodate all our furry friends. Please include a note with your inquiry about your pet(s) & we can discuss. No need to pack bottled water! The house has a whole-home filtration system, so the tap water is perfectly safe to drink—and it tastes great. Just bring your reuseable bottle! We also keep an additional refillable pitcher in the refrigerator should you like it ice cold. Please note the chalet sits at the top of a 200-yard crushed rock driveway. In heavy snow or icy conditions, it’s safest to park on Mink Brook Road and walk up. We live just down the mountain, so feel free to text or call if you need anything. Guest access The entire cabin, yard & babbling brook (that flows most of the year) is yours to use! Our location is recognized by International Dark Sky as one of the best places in the state for star gazing & there's nothing more magical than enjoying s'mores by the firepit while marveling at the night sky! Other things to note Growing up as a 7th-generation Texan and working in the hospitality industry taught me how to make people feel welcome. I care deeply about the space I've created & want you to feel like you're coming home to somewhere you love, too. After over a decade staying in Airbnbs, I know what separates a so-so stay from an exceptional one.
