It's an historical 1850’s Lodge listed building located a short walk from Ayr beach, Burns Cottage/Centre, world famous “Brig O’ Doon” in heart of Burns’ country!(Scotland’s poet) The space After parking the car in the driveway, entering the Lodge and turning left through the main Conservatory door entrance guests can relax surrounded by greenery and use the Conservatory as a place to store clubs or other kit.(E.G. Water Sports) Turning right on entry at Conservatory door allows main hallway access to the Lounge, Bathroom and Bedroom 1 with Double sized bed, and Kitchen. Accessed at the end of the hall, at the front of the house each having views across Belleisle Golf course, is Bedroom 2 with 1 Double bed and on way to Bedroom 2 Dining room with two single beds stacked as one bed (and dining table and chairs) OR full Bedroom with additional bed. The two formats are : * 3 BEDROOM FORMAT :: Dedicated Bedroom 3, off Bedroom 2, giving 3/4 Beds total in house. Where 3 double beds or 2 double beds and 2 single beds are required the Dining area is transferred to a dining kitchen. * 2 BEDROOM + DINING ROOM :: Dining Room with Day/Single bed next to Dining Table & chairs Be great if guests could tell me number of couples and number of people sleeping on their own so I can set the house up with optimal sleeping & Dining arrangements. Additional sheets, pillows, towels and iron are to be found in Bedroom 1 underbed storage. Both double bedrooms have wardrobes, Bedroom 2 also has a full-length mirror. Cordless vacuum is located in cupboard across from Conservatory entrance. The kitchen, is complete with brand new 7 burner gas range, American style fridge freezer, washer dryer machine, dishwasher, Creamer, Nespresso machine, toaster, microwave, charging point and kettle. The Lodge lies on a lane leading to a number of great scenic walks including Cambusdoon Park which has a beautiful river running through it and extensive mature grounds, Belleisle Park & Golf course, or taking in the local history around the Burns centre and “Brig O’ Doon”. Walking down the road 5 minutes away accesses the beach walks. Please let us know in advance if you have any additional requirements for young children etc and we will do our best to make sure that you have everything you need on arrival.(Need to give advance notice for a cot for example) HIGH SPEED WI-FI, PAY TV CHANNELS, HOUSE-WIDE SOUND SYSTEM & DEDICATED WORKSPACE :: Lodge enjoys 200+mps Wi-Fi, work / trip planning desk, printer, big screen and fast internet. For visual entertainment guests will enjoy Virgin Media + TNT(Sports) pay TV subscriptions and Netflix. The Lodge also has a digital amplifier driven house-wide sound system. Guest access Guests have access to the full lodge and ground level garden.(Currently the upper-level gardens are undergoing refurb and are currently off-limits for guests) Three or four car parking spaces are available on the Lodge driveway / lane at side of house and many more on the road.
