Welcome to Sunset Shores Lakeside Escape! Recharge and unwind at this peaceful waterfront oasis featuring our 900sqft one-story lake house that boasts stunning views of Campau Lake. Just outside the cozy quarters, you'll be able to enjoy our private dock, family friendly waters, kayaks, and lake life adventures. Whether you're fishing off the dock, enjoying a movie inside, exploring the lake, or simply unwinding under the starlit sky, unforgettable memories await at our Alto haven. The space Two cozy bedrooms featuring comfortable queen beds and a queen size, 4 inch memory foam foldable mattress to put on top of the sofa bed for additional guests. Our home comfortably accommodates up to six people. The well-appointed bathroom ensures convenience with a tub and shower, while the fully equipped kitchen allows for effortless meal preparation. The living room features a comfortable couch and chairs that provide the best space to converse, play games, or enjoy a show or movie. Get your own slice of the lake life and enjoy the beauty and relaxation this awesome location has to offer. :: The Lake :: Campau Lake, a serene 190acre all-sports lake, offers varying water depths for your enjoyment. At the water's edge, it's ankle-deep and sandy bottom, gradually deepening as you venture further from land. A public access boat launch is very close for easy unloading and loading your own boat or keep it tied up at the end of our private dock, where it reaches a depth of 3-4 feet. Connected to Kettle Lake, known for its affluent homes, Campau Lake provides excellent opportunities for fishing, swimming, and boating. While the lake is inviting, we advise caution, especially for non-swimmers or children, and recommend using flotation devices when needed for swimming or boating. Please advise that the lake is extremely shallow right now. There should be absolutely no diving off of the dock. Familiarize yourself with local water regulations and always supervise children closely near the water. Water safety guidelines should be adhered to and responsibility for water safety is your own. No running or diving off the dock at any time. Be mindful and careful on the dock and entry steps to the water. Your safety and enjoyment is our priority as you create unforgettable memories by the lakeside. :: Things to Note :: -Please ensure the correct number of guests is reflected on your reservation -No smoking indoors- Please dispose of butts appropriately (not in the lake) -Must notify your host of any additional guests visiting the property ahead of time as well as any changes to overnight guests. -Overnight guests are any guests present after midnight. Additional charges may apply. -Water Mat must remain attached to the dock for safety -No Parties/Gatherings Guest access There are 4 available parking spaces. Upon arrival, please park in front of the white garage across the street from the home (2 spaces) or directly in front of the home on the street (2 spaces) remaining mindful of neighbors property and vehicles that must pass. You will be sent the code to use on the keyless door for entry. In addition to access to all of the amenities inside the home, feel free to use the kayaks and/or other water toys provided by your host. Please be mindful on the wood dock and entry steps to the water. No running or diving at any time during your stay. Other things to note With a prime location, this lake house is only 9 miles from the Gerald R Ford Airport, 5 miles from Davenport University, and less than 1 mile from the Campau/Kettle Lake boat launch.
