You will feel at home in my large family home, comfortable and easy to live in, with a wooded garden and a large terrace, in a quiet area. Common areas are large and allow you to be comfortable. The 5 bedrooms with real beds (160 or 140) ensure you are comfortable. Our small town of Crest is very charming and full of things to discover, like our entire valley. Downtown Crest is a stone's throw away, and the river is nearby. Welcome! The space Hello and welcome home! To discover our beautiful region in the best way, I offer you my spacious family home, comfortable and easy to live in, with a wooded garden and a large terrace. It is 2 steps from downtown Crest, in a quiet residential area. Parking in front of the house. >> The advantages of the house: - it is large, simple, welcoming with its 5 bedrooms. - Insulated from the outside (with wood wool), it is very pleasant in summer and stays cool. - a large living room with comfortable Fama sofas. - a large shaded terrace, made of larch wood, with a large zellige table, - a small terrace for the children's corner or for yoga sessions. - a semi-open kitchen, gas cooking for good little dishes. - a wooded garden that surrounds you with nature, a stone's throw from the city center. >> The bedrooms: On the ground floor: - the "zero stairs" room overlooking the terrace with a 140 cm bed Upstairs: - the "balcony room" with a 160 cm bed, and its balcony overlooking the Saoû forest - the "twin room" with 2 beds 140 cm - the "cozy room" with 1 bed 140 cm - the "studio room" with 1 bed 140 cm and 1 bed 90 cm. + a shower room & toilet on the ground floor and upstairs. The beds are made on arrival. I do not provide towels unless there is a special request. Once you're at home, you'll enjoy the peace and comfort. Then it's up to you, because Crest and the Drôme Valley are full of things to do. Here are a few: - The wonderful Drôme River, one of the last wild rivers in Europe, a few minutes from the house, for a picnic & swim, or a walk by the water. - The Crest Jazz Festival, the first week of August - Crest Tower, the highest dungeon in France, - the old Crest with its charming alleyways, - Eden cinema, skate park... - walks to be taken from the city center, the Chemin des Crêtes, for example. - the relaxing atmosphere of the city center, its small restaurants, its artisan shops... - the Saturday morning farmers' market, one of the most beautiful in the valley! (also on Tuesdays, smaller, but still very organic and local) - the guinguettes on the banks of the Drôme, in Aouste or Piégros la Clastre... >> From Crest, you can make a lot of discoveries: - to the south, the beautiful village of Saoû, and the unmissable forest of Saoû and the massif of the 3 Becs. - to the east, the Gervanne valley, and then the Clairette road to Die, and the Vercors... The hardest part will be choosing… and leaving! :) I will be happy to make suggestions for outings according to your wishes. Note: Crest has an SNCF train station and bus station that is connected to Valence city (30 min from Crest) or Valence TGV (45 minutes). The A7 highway is 30 minutes away.
