Spacious home is nestled in a beautiful traditional English village in the south of Oxfordshire. The house is bordered by open fields yet close to the heart of Oxford city centre, Abingdon, and Didcot town centre. Didcot Parkway railway station is just under 9 mins drive. It takes only 37- 45 mins to commute to London Paddington! Culham Science Centre, Milton Park & Harwell Campus are all within 5 miles. A convenience store, Post Office and gastronomic village pubs are within walking distance. The space Our spacious 4 bedroom house sleeps 7 guests and offers modern and comfortable amenities, including smart TVs with access to a variety of channels, free WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, crockpot and Miele washing machine. The open-plan kitchen is perfectly suited for cooking and for entertaining family and guests. The well equipped house will make it feel right at home from the moment you step in. There is a second lounge area with doors to the patio and garden, decorated in stylish and vibrant tones. ... And if you are musical, please do enjoy playing on our 105 year old piano (Bob). Please treat Bob with love as it’s a precious instrument we cherish :-) The en-suite master bedroom features a super king-size bed with a hotel collection style mattress, 100% cotton bedsheets and built-in luxurious cupboards that offer plenty of space for long stays. The second bedroom features a king-size bed and shares the family bathroom with the double and the single bedrooms. The double bedroom offers two single beds decorated to suit younger guests and has toys and books to keep little ones entertained. A cot could be provided upon request. The garden has a view of open fields and a gate giving access to the fields for nature lovers and long walks. If you are coming in the summer you will meet our tortoises, Potato and Hotdog. They enjoy sunbathing in their little summer villa :-) they won’t be in your way. Other things to note The self check-in option offers flexibility of arrival time. Parking is also available. Guests are welcome to charge their electric vehicles using our Wall Box EV charger with prior arrangement. A daily fee starting from £7.50 applies, depending on the vehicle type and electrical consumption. Additionally, if you need to borrow charging lead, a refundable deposit of £100 will be required Please note that bookings for a week or more will receive one mandatory cleaning visit after every 7th day and this will be added to the total cost. Spare bedsheets for long stays will be available to use at guests' convenience.
