55 m2 cottage in a large 17th century stone building, on 3 ha planted with century-old oaks... Ideally located between Forcalquier and Banon, with views of Lure Mountain, in a quiet environment and peaceful nature. Newly restored, it has a kitchen open to the living room (2-seater sofa bed), dining room and an upper floor with shower room/toilet and bedroom (160 cm 2-seater bed +1 cot). We live on site in another wing of the farm. No TV or wifi. The space You can pet and come see our horses, donkey, cats, dogs, pigs and chickens at will. They are on site for the enjoyment of young and old! And buy local products like eggs from our chicken coop, lavender/mountain honey/all flowers , olive oil. You will have free access to the large garden shaded by centuries-old lime trees in the back of the building, enjoy our beautiful Provence sun, with a picnic table, barbecue, hammock, ping pong,swing... Dog accepted. Ability to host riders and their horses on site. Possibility of taking a ride with Aramis, our donkey, in the hills upon request with your host! Hiking, equestrian, mountain biking and other lovers of calm and great outdoors will find all year round a natural setting and a simple and warm welcome. Numerous hiking trails from the house. The Saint Michel observatory 15 minutes away organizes animations and observations of our wonderful pure sky all year round. On site you can visit the medieval site of Viére overlooking the pretty village of Angles, gather at the beautiful chapel of Notre Dame, go eat in the small country bistros nearby, enjoy a horse/pony ride at Anastasja's or buy goat cheeses at the Rocher farm. Massif du Luberon at 20min,Forcalquier and Banon at 10min,Manosque at 35min. Montagne de Lure 15min away. Gorges du Verdon an hour away. Provencal Colorado 30min away and picturesque villages of contadour(Giono country) and surroundings . Attention the cottage is on the first floor of the house,access by stone stairs. Even access to the bathroom and toilet is via a Japanese staircase.
