Perched in the rural heights of Wilderness, the property is surrounded by forests and farmland, whilst looking out over the expansive Wilderness landscapes. It's close enough to the village centre (2,5km) for convenience, yet far enough out to invite the true peace that Wilderness has to offer. The space The apartment is part of an apartment complex attached to the main house, located on an expansive and beautiful smallholding. Although attached, the units are fully private, with private patios and entrances. The unit is a large open plan apartment (single/couple), self-catering, with microwave, gas stove, small fridge and all kitchen amenities. It has a TV (streaming services like Netflix - no DSTV) and WiFi, and, as the property is fully on solar power there is no loadshedding! The bathroom is fully open-plan (a honeymooners delight!), with a bath and shower. The toilet is a separate (closed) room). Peaceful walks can be taken around the surrounding rural landscape, and the area is also a cycling favourite. Having lived here for almost two decades, we can truly say that this property is a real gem in Wilderness - safe and peaceful, yet close enough to the village and amenities to not be an inconvenience. Guest access Guests have access to their unit and private patio in front of their apartment. They also have access to the dams on the property and a nature walk around the lower part of the property through natural veld. Other things to note We have two friendly rescue dogs, who are mostly kept apart from the guest rooms, but do occasionally roam the property with us. The property is a "working smallholding", so guests can expect some activity from ground staff attending to the vegetable gardens, property maintenance and dams.
