Shoehouse in Downtown Hot Springs!

Built in 1900 for a school teacher, this house is on the national shoe-in the wall registry! Shoes were often placed in the wall during this period for luck, fertility, and to ward off evil spirits. Super cozy, and very quiet. The space Historic Home Built in 1900 and on the National Shoe in the Wall Registry. A short walk uphill from the Center of town ( 300 feet). Great mountain view from the front porch. You can see Lover's Leap from the backyard. Super cute house, lots of history and character ! Fiber Optic Wi-fi, and a claw foot tub. We try to maintain the historical character of the home, while providing modern amenities. There is a new convection oven and a new washer and dryer! The stove is induction, and there is a commercial sized side by side refrigerator with a freezer drawer. This house is perfect for those that want to be close to downtown in a quiet place. Inside you will be super comfortable on the extra large L-shaped couch with 42" Roku TV ! The "mud room " in the back of the house has a church pew bench and is a perfect place to take your shoes off after a long hike and relax! Guest access Everything is there for you in the house! Other things to note We allow one well behaved pet, THERE IS A PET DEPOSIT.Please do not allow Pets on the couch. Please be respective and careful of our historical home ! It is very solid but very old! We ask that there be no running or jumping in the house. No parties as of now, but feel free to cut loose on the front porch or back yard. New appliances including Washer, Dryer, convection oven, and side by side Fridge. The Appalachian Trail is a block away and Lover's Leap and Pump Gap have been cleared following the hurricane.
