Sunshine Cottage- River Access

This charming mountain cottage is located just a 10 minute drive from stunning hiking trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway. You will have access to a peaceful river (1/4 mile walk or drive from home) which is fully stocked for trout season. Boone is a 35 min drive and West Jefferson is only 25 min away. This home is the perfect mountain getaway. The space You will have a access to 2 bedrooms with queen beds and an office space with a futon that folds down into an extra bed. There is one bathroom which has two sinks and a nice, large bathtub. There’s a comfy living room with plenty of seating, fully stocked kitchen, and a dining room that seats 4. The sunroom is a cozy space to have a meal or just hang out. In the sunroom, there is a 6 person dining table to accommodate larger parties. You’ll also have access to a washer and dryer in the unit if needed. Just a quarter of a mile walk or drive from the home, you’ll have access to a serene, flowing river where you are welcome to fish or just relax. Guest access You and your guests will have private access to the entire home. While at the river, you may occasionally see other neighbors walking or fishing, but typically you’ll be the only ones enjoying the area. Other things to note We recommend bringing camping chairs if you plan to relax by the river.
