The space Sarbazi’s Wolf Den is a rustic and cozy two-story cottage on over an acre of land with 130ft of private waterfront. This pet friendly cottage is perfect for two families and for all 4 seasons! The Wolf Den includes a large dock, gazebo on the water, fire pit, lawn games, canoe, row boat, life jackets, and a hammock. The cottage is only minutes away from Haliburton Forest & Wildlife Center, The Wolf Center, and a short drive away from West Guilford and downtown Haliburton. This cottage features a large, private master bedroom on the upper floor with a king size bed, electric fireplace, and walkout balcony overlooking the lake. One room on the main floor has a twin bunk bed and a trundle. Another room on the main floor has a double/twin bunk bed. Additional den space with futon sofa and living room with a pull-out couch is perfect for cuddling up to watch a movie. The kitchen overlooks the lake and is an excellent place for family gatherings. This cottage is equipped with a bbq, mini fridge, water cooler, Keurig, kettle, microwave, air fryer, toaster, propane fireplace, woodstove, washer, dryer, dishwasher, smart TV, board games, radio, large dog crate, air conditioning, unlimited high speed internet, and baby gear available upon request. This is a perfect winter rental as well as it is 4 season. In the fall you are surrounded by beautiful changing tree colours. In the winter there are plenty of activities to keep you busy including snow shoeing, snowmobiling, tobogganing, ice fishing, bonfires, and skiing at the nearby Sir Sam's ski club. Perfect getaway for snowmobilers as this cottage is minutes away from Haliburton Forest snowmobiling trails, has a large garage and direct lake access. Guest access Lockbox entrance. Guests have access to the main floor and upper floor of the cottage. Basement and detached two car garage are used for owner storage. Garage can be used by renters only in the winter for snowmobile and trailer storage if requested. Guests will have access to over 130ft of private waterfront, dock, boat launch, and gazebo. The neighbours have a giant beach volleyball court and often share it with our renters and may invite you over to place a volleyball match! Other things to note Small cars should not attempt going down the steep part of the driveway. Small cars should park up top near the garage. Only SUVs and trucks should go all the way down the driveway. Do not park on the lawn at the bottom of the driveway as the septic tank is right beside the driveway! Please bring your own ice if needed as our freezer does not have an ice machine. Please bring big blue water jugs for the water cooler if needed (we provide 1-2 jugs). Please keep pets on the property at all times. Please respect quiet hour bylaw 11pm. We have lots of firewood you can burn. Local radio station we love is 93.5! Only use boat launch for small water crafts like kayaks/seadoos. Large boats should be launched down the road at the pelaw river boat launch.
