Description
Retired educators and healthcare professionals understand the requirements of students, interns and visiting health care workers. You need safety, security and convenience. Your private room includes high quality furniture with a comfy bed and private bathroom, high speed internet, workstation, a large spacious closet equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and electrical kettle. Five days plus stays include use of an equipped kitchen with high top bar to eat, unwind and relax. The space A quiet, pristine, elegantly furnished room with private bathroom. Personal amenities in your room include a fridge, microwave and kettle. Your room also has a workstation with hi speed internet. Downstairs you will find a shared modern and equipped kitchen with a high top eating bar to enjoy a meal, a cup of joe or a glass of wine. As this area is shared please expect some courtesy guidelines as to times and cleanliness. For those on extended stay you may make arrangements for use of our laundry. There is ample parking right outside the front door. Guest access Access to our home is keyed and you will be upstairs on a private hallway with a keyed entry to your private room and bathroom. For our extended stay guests you will have access to the downstairs where you will find the shared kitchen area and high top eating bar. Of course, as the downstairs is a shared area and where your host lives, there will be courtesy guidelines as to times of use and cleanliness. During your stay Your host is retired so most of the time is home and available to greet you and help you with your needs. Yan does not prepare meals or provide room service for you. She will change and launder towels every few days. Yan and her retired husband love to interact with guests and share about their lives and travels throughout the world. They are great chefs so occasionally, they may invite you to join them for a meal. They will be happy to sit and chat! So you know, they will sharing the kitchen with you but they have there own private bedroom, bathroom and outside patio area. Other things to note Safety, cleanliness, the comfort, peace and enjoyment of other guests is very important to other guests and the host. You will be provided a key to your room and to the house front door so please be sure to keep these safe and lock the front door as you come and go. Sealed trash bags can be left by the door of your room. Respect for other guests sleep and rest time is appreciated. For example, some workers, especially health care workers may be working shifts or during the night. Keeping noise to a minimum is important. All of us have friends but please they may not stay overnight and guest meals should be with the agreement of the host.
