Many swimming places (lakes, rivers) and hiking trails are accessible within a radius of 50 km. The space Welcome to our home! This is a vacation home that I only rent occasionally. So you'll live in our family home, in its juice. It's a choice for us not to have it "airbnbized" and to rent it to you as is. You can taste the charm of this typical Auvergnat village with ease. The hamlet is set back from the departmental and only the ten inhabitants (plus a few cows) frequent the "road" crossing the village. So you will only be disturbed by the chirping of the birds and will have plenty of time to watch the sunset behind the house and the Milky Way above your heads. The house is an old late 19th century farmhouse transformed into a secondary residence in the 70s. It is perfectly insulated and has a new boiler for hot water and heating. With a surface area of 80 m2, on 2 levels, it consists of: - on the ground floor: a small veranda, a large living room with fully equipped kitchenette, a pantry, and a bedroom with double bed, shower and toilet; - upstairs: living room with TV (TNT) and desk area, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed + 2 single beds), bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet. There's no internet. A garage (1 car) is attached to the house. Guests can enjoy a large garden of 2000 m2 with trees and fenced. Garden furniture (1 table + 8 chairs + 2 sun loungers), as well as a barbecue are at your disposal. Sheets, duvets, pillows, towels and linen are provided. The cleaning fee is automatically included in the price of the rental. Possibility to pitch a tent in the garden for children or friends passing through or to park a motorhome. Dogs & cats are accepted (only on the ground floor in the house) Both the house and its surroundings are ideal for families with children and/or friends who want to recharge in peace and greenery. There are many walking paths from the house and even a small creek within a 10-minute walk. By car, within a radius of 50 km, you can explore the natural park of volcanoes (Puy de Dôme, Chaîne des Puys, Massif du Sancy, Banne d 'Ordanche, Volvic, Vulcania Activity Park, etc.), the thermal resorts of La Bourboule and Mont Dore, the Millevaches plateau, and swim in the surrounding lakes and rivers. The small roads are also a joy by bike. Not to mention Auvergne cuisine (try the truffade or the pounti!), its charcuterie, its jams, and especially the countless varieties of cheese (you absolutely must try the Saint-Nectaire Ferme Burandou sold at the Intermarché!). All shops and services are in Bourg Lastic 8 km away (supermarket, butcher, bakery, tobacco press, pizzeria, pharmacy, distributor, doctor, etc.).
